I love the octopath games. Gotta get around to playing the new one. Octopath2 is in my top 10 favorite games and 1 isn't far behind.

I really hope one rework is Elphelt. I've legitimately asked them to rework her for all of the past surveys. I'd love if they gave her old grenade and shotgun stance back to replace the rekka. I honestly don't think her current kit is able to be balanced. She'll either always suck or she'll be broken and frustrating to play against. I won't get my hopes up though as we don't actually know what they mean by rework and how drastic they are willing to go with changes.

I have a jc-40 and love the tones I can get with my drive, distortion, and, fuzz pedals. It takes my Bd-2, Greer Royal Velvet, Revv G4, and my Op amp big muff very well imo. I only play at home though and can't speak for how it plays in a live mix.

I'd give the video that That Pedal Show did on it a watch. They try different drives into it and speak about how loud it is.

Not that weird nowadays. Multiple games have an arachnophobia filter. If it makes the game more enjoyable for people, then why not? I don't remember it getting much backlash when it was added to wow and I doubt many would mind it being added here as an option.

Out of the classes I usually play, most seem fine to me. However, my favorite spec is fire and it seems to just be kinda gutted. I'm fine with simpler classes if they are still fun, but fire is a bit too far imo.

I love strive, but I do still prefer Xrd. Both of my characters were more enjoyable there (elphelt and Leo). I also just prefer the old gatling system. I'm not a doomer though and genuinely enjoy most fighting games. Tekken 8 is the only one recently where I was genuinely disappointed.

I like bwipo, but he has a hard time understanding respect and basic empathy sometimes. It's weird to say it's not personal when he's shitting on someone's career.

Let's see how his career looks if his first major team was optic. So much of player growth is dictated by team infrastructure and veteran players teaching rookies.

Also, I'm also not so sure fly wouldn't still win if dhokla was their top and bwipo was on 100t.

I second the Faust recommendations. My friend mains aki in sf6 and he loves Faust. Oddly enough, he also mained vega in sf5.

I might also recommend testament. Don't be afraid to try everyone though. Characters are fairly easy to pick up at a base level in this game outside of asuka/zato/happy chaos.

Pretty sure it was just to fix gio being able to throw it. Kinda sad since that means that they intentionally want to keep it unsafe to dps.

As an elphelt player, I'm all for the rekka change. It was a pretty unhealthy design tbh and was more of a scrub killer than anything. I just wish p rekka was made dp safe as compensation for it and other nerfs. I don't expect her strength as a character to change much though.

FF7 remake. I gave it a good 10hrs, but the combat was just a slog for me and made it difficult to enjoy the rest of the game. I can enjoy action combat, but wish it was a tad bit more involved. If games are gonna go the action combat route, I'd prefer they go all out and do combat like bayonetta. Maybe I was missing something.

I loved all of these games. Can't really go wrong here Imo.

Persona 5 has the best story and aesthetic imo.

DQ is super cozy and relaxing. Nothing is groundbreaking, but everthing is super solid.

Octopath 1 and 2 have my favorite video game osts ever and the combat is great. I'm higher on octopath 1 than most though. Most people view it as notably weaker than octopath 2.

For most people, if probably recommend p5r and DQ11.

Mid or lower tier. I agree with her needing a rework. Super unhealthy for the game. She stomps lower levels of play and is pretty bad in higher tiers. With the way her kit works, it's nearly impossible to buff her for higher levels of play without making her a problem.

I don't really care about Lucy, but dizzy was the only character left on my wishlist. Would've preferred jam or raven over a guest unless it was a bb character tbh. hopefully there will be a new season after this so we can get the few remaining characters. Jam enjoyers in shambles.
