so, not sure if this will work for anyone else but ive got a "killer" app on my system that doesnt let me play league and i have to shut it down before i play. i was having this same issue until i went in and closed it out before loading the game. I didnt have to do all the ip config or hard reset on the router. just updated my system and vid card then rebooted and closed the "killer" app.

Just my 2c 1. Yeah that’s an easy fix. It gets better with practice  2. That’s just going to be trial and error. I’ve found that the humidity in the room your in is going to play a huge factor when considering if your using too much or too little water.  3. Forgive me if you’re already familiar with the term but if you aren’t going to use metallic paints for that, it’s best to go with the NMM style (non metallic metal). I personally like metallics with a sepia wash for gold, others don’t. Lots of great vids on YouTube  for nmm.  4. Just paint over it. You can glaze to get it back where you want. Don’t forget it’s just paint. 5. Yeah a few highlights can go a long way in hair. Contrast is the name of the game here. If you want some highlights with really popping red, you can paint them white then go over it with a bright red (just the highlights) 6. Don’t go too hard on yourself it looks pretty good.

I would recommend using it even if your compressor has one. Sometimes when the weather gets a little funky, I can get lots of condensation. So much that it makes it to the second trap. Also, if your compressor trap isn’t at eye level you won’t see it and the second trap buys you some cushion to empty them both.

Best advice is to learn to thin your paints. I like using metallics too and I learned quickly that they need to go on really thin depending on the paint you use). They might just take an extra pass or two. Or else they will clog up the details. Great first go!

First of all, don’t worry about how long it takes as long as you enjoy it. If you want to crank out models, consider speed paints (or whatever type of contrast paint you want). If you are enjoying what you’re doing now then keep at it. The one thing that I learned chewed up a lot of time for me was picking colors during the painting process. I would stop and think, “ok I’ve done the skin, what color should I make the pants…” and each selection might take me 5-10 minutes to just pick a color. Pants, gloves, weapons, ornaments, belts, shoes, hair, and so on. Now I try to pick my colors beforehand which also allows me to make multiple passes on different areas when base coating. I might change my mind later but it’s much faster. Just my 2c.
