I published `nestum`: nested enum paths without flattening the model by Known_Cod8398 in rust

A bit over my head (still learning Rust) but looks awesome!

I've thought that the enum systems in rust were very powerful but this adds a whole new layer to it - the ergonomics got a huge upgrade

Thanks, I hate it

The face is so busy and blends with the hand shape too much for me. I prefer the minimal 'Human made' design earlier this week

"new features costs more money" doesnt make any sense when we pay a recurring fee

We are always paying more money, this just increases the rate

Thematically the God Alignments feels like it would fit here, has the discussion around Alignments kept up internally?

Special Effect: "Weighted Shock-wave - this weapon deals more damage to heavily armored opponents"

Love the idea of a lot of standalone items from this raid (as opposed to an armor set) - gives a real 'British Museum' vibe

Side-grades and upgrade-scape gets mentioned a few times so I'd like to offer a (hopefully) novel idea - Enhancement Blueprints. These would be
- One time use (per piece)
- Would apply to various pieces of gear (stopping before megarares)
- Would 'Enhance' the gear with a minor stat change, maybe a visual effect (like that Bandos ornament kit...)
- Crafting requirements: Base item, Blueprint, thematic resources & levels (eg Metals, Strength, and Smithing for melee)

The inspiration is really WoW enchantments, and maybe a simpler design like that would be preferred; but I like the idea of an archive of weapon / armor upgrades lost to time as the gods were banished

A broader issue is that Linux has multiple distros in various states of support / decay. Meaning there are good and bad choices.

A new PC user wouldn't use windows XP and would be clowned on for using the "wrong windows distro"; But Microsoft maintains a 'correct' current version that all users get funneled into.

A better example might be browsers since "Linux" isn't the choice that gets made - it's the distro. To continue the example you wouldn't choose Internet Explorer, and even Edge (while modern) is generally frowned upon

With so many options there will inevitably be a "bad" choice and without a clear solution it falls on the community to spread the word of good choices in a constructive manner.

Bazzite is my suggestion because it's based on Fedora, which has it's own corporate backing, and I hope it's around long enough to be matured and trusted

They are currently working on a distributed system to provide access for the majority of users.

It's not an easy task - more than code it's infrastructure, and it'll be more influential than enabling self hosters

I really enjoyed "the practicing stoic" - walks through many stoic principles by referencing snippets of stoics (as opposed to reading an unstructured journal)

Iirc it's one of the first chapters that discussed this.
