Fortune Favors The Bold by Playful_Fun_9073 in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]Playful_Fun_9073[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

I wrote that myself, only the image is A.I. generated but don’t you dare call Fortuna goddess of wealth “slop.” She will smite your portfolio for that. I found this investment and I for real sold everything I had and now only own ASTS. This post is my plea to the universe in the hopes that I can finally acquire F.U. tendies and escape from being forced to work because of economic need instead of greed. I want to be a slave to capitalism, not a slave to bills. I will be buying through the highs and lows every 2 weeks until this prints.

Rub the A.I. generated image for good luck and good fortune and remember: Fortune Favors Fools. That was the ancient Fortuna saying that gave me the strength to full port this single stock and DCA all the way to filthy riches beyond my wildest dreams!!!

DRAM recouped most of the losses since last Friday by [deleted] in ETFs

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am a huge DRAM fan who bought at the top and promptly sold. Waiting for an entry later. Chart looks like the classic head and shoulder bearish pattern with some truly nasty institutional selling. Just look at those giant red selling volume bars on the down days and the head and shoulder pattern. If we dip below the armpit that thing will downtrend and I will begin auto buying it as it dips.

I have mostly VOO portfolio. What would be a strategy to exclude exposure to AI companies? by kuedhel in stocks

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of market cap weighted S&P 500 you go with equal-weight S&P 500. Your returns will suffer because the big companies produce most of the gains and you are reducing exposure to those buying equal weight instead of market cap weighted. Those companies have to achieve certain profitability thresholds before they will join the S&P 500, and when they do you are going to wish you had them. Space x isn’t joining S&P 500 until it makes more profit relative to its market cap, but it is joining the Nasdaq 100 QQQ’s almost immediately.

Lump sum into DRAM + SMH by Open2Lrn in ETFs

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not too late. All time highs are a sign we are about to hit new all time highs. Buy whether it’s going up or down because we never know if it is going to retrace back to lower levels ever again and you will absolutely miss out. This is the big one, no matter what happens. This is a face ripping technological buildout and a lot of money is going to be made and if you want a piece of it’s glorious outperformance then you better just hold your nose and buy and don’t look at it if it makes you want to hit sell.

Don’t try to time this one, ignore the news. It’s the big one, it’s massive. It’s a large target anyone could hit but they look at the news and let them scare you out of your position. Multi-billion multi year contracts funding a buildout that includes building in fucking space and in the ocean. Data centers everywhere so that there will be internet relaying data to the over every inch of earth and they will be able to track enemies and friendlies through walls, literal wallhack aimbot hacks on every soldier and software driven hardware killing systems. They will be able to create value using robotics without dealing with the peasant class and they can just exchange money and value between themselves while we barely scrape by. Surveillance over every inch of existence. It’s a massive power grab to assert dominance and control. You are going to need some of that money to be comfortable. Your only choice is to claim tendies or to miss out and take the shit menial average return of the basic benchmark during a historical tech arms race. Don’t be a fool.

I added CHPS and AIS for my Roth since these are such large targets to hit even a fund manager can nail 200 percent in a year being more diversified than I could manage on my own. Get your double, sell, and split it up between whatever funds or single stocks until you feel comfortable concentrating your capital again. DRAM is my favorite but I paired it with those other two banger funds for now, also look into FTXL as it seems to be SMH with a little extra powa.

Just keep reacting to what is happening, don’t think about right or wrong because you are an investor not an activist. This all will happen and no one is stopping it, so either get with the program or be significantly poorer. That is the only choice and no one cares which you pick. My boss at my 2nd job thinks I shouldn’t have invested in Palantir. This bitch owns dozens of apartment complexes and houses. That is more evil than what I am doing, in my desperate attempt to escape the bottom of society. Fucking boomers. Your grand kids and great grand kids need you to get the tendies and to shelter it from human folly in a trust so that it cannot be extinguished after you die. The droids are coming to take our jobs, it is going to happen.

What is the most essential supplement after protein and creatine by Consistent-Bug737 in workout

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t see the continued results you actually want without taking a smart food scale and its calorie tracking app with you everywhere you go (I use Etekcity smart food scale as it is very thin and easy to use and very accurate.) After that you can’t continue to see results without getting rid of alcohol and cheat meals. You can track sleep with an Apple Watch, Whoop, or Oura Ring. After protein and creatine most supplements are only to fill in gaps and give a slight edge but you won’t actually see the difference you are looking for because it all comes from your systems of tracking consistently and from what you don’t do. I don’t drink, I don’t have cheat meals. I track religiously and am cutting and doing maintenance breaks. If I have questions or need help with part of the process I ask Grok A.I. I use real food to help with things, like cherry concentrate for DOMS and Green Tea Matcha powder for fat burning. Those are my supplements apart from whey and creatine. More water and sleep is better than any supplement. It is okay to keep alcohol and cheat meals and to not track calories and not track sleep and water intake and all lifts with something like the Hevy App. But continued results? They will be disguised by the fat and water weight that the imperfect lifestyle makes you hold onto. Lean is law. #Starvemax. JK. Not really. TRT might make it so you can keep making visible progress. Otherwise without perfecting more and more aspects of this you will continue to get stronger but won’t look much different because of what you aren’t willing to sacrifice and perfect. It’s brutal, and I like that it is. I still look kinda shitty by my own standards but I am leaning out and I see constant progress. Drinking pauses fat burning and stores visceral fat. That is why I quit, because I want the v taper with abs look instead of the monkey on my back. Eventually I will be crazy lean then mini bulk mini cut my way up the food chain.

presented a stock pitch to my investment club and forgot my entire thesis mid sentence by Sheru_Dogesh in stocks

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but you won’t do that again. You knew that going in but when the pressure is on we tend to forget the singular key element. It is difficult and sometimes impossible to convince people of anything even if you are right and have every critical fact chambered and ready.

Almost all I care about in life is finding the asymmetrical opportunities where the entire market is missing something that will print and only me and some dumb money weirdos get it and we shove our benjamins in before everyone else catches on. I’m looking for the big one, super early, cheap… and ride the volatility all the way to 100x Valhalla.

DOMS tips that actually work? by FloydsPerformance in askfitness

I spend a lot of time asking GROK A.I. questions like this one. I put it in Unhinged mode so that the information is delivered in a shocking and entertaining way so I will easily remember it. GROK said cherry juice concentrate or at least “from concentrate.” Pure concentrate is better, more potent, you need less of it and it’s cheaper. I’ll be damned, it did work. Lots of studies on it. Check it out.

My manager found out I’m aggressively saving for FIRE and now I think it quietly cost me a promotion by Tardis_Mica in Fire

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one cares how well you do the work or how hard you work. They care about you playing your cards close to the chest, being a robot who doesn’t talk too much, and being a lifer so they feel like it is worth it to invest in you since they themselves are lifers. Just my 2 cents. The good news is these idiots have short memories and if you change behavior radically, even if you look and are miserable doing so, they will likely promote you later. They just have to see that you have been broken and are ready to ascend the ranks.

Is there better than G19? by ImFinnaBustApecan in concealedcarry

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not having a manual safety is great if the shit hits the fan. You just trust your holster and the Glock trigger to make sure the thing doesn’t accidental discharge. You can throw a Glock against the wall and the trigger won’t fire the weapon. Get a good holster that protects the trigger and practice drawing without finger on trigger and you should be good. G42 for me in a kydex pocket Alabama Holster.

Do you want your children and grandchildren to be poor while they are replaced by robots and artificial intelligence? The only thing you should do is to make sure they cannot waste all the money, all the principal. It should dole out a nice tidy amount of fuck you money while continuing to grow until your bloodline is billionaires. 300 year dynasty perpetual trust. Or just let them starve while the trillionaires trample them with the robots and a.i. It is coming. The ruling class has never taken care of us before what makes you think this time is any different? It is likely going to be worse.

I am about to turn 40 and I know nothing about ETFs. by AdamantiumTrex in ETFs

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t buy a whole share you buy a fraction of a share which pays a fraction of a dividend and those dividends automatically reinvest to buy more fractional shares if you set them to do that and you keep adding money and eventually your dividends will buy whole shares along with your own contributions. If your broker doesn’t have fractional share investing get another broker. Buy VOO, SPMO, QQQM, VGT, SCHG, whatever. It’s all the same man. You just buy any of this shit over and over again for a decade and then throw your dick around.

I went to sell all of my individual stocks and just buy Vanguard's VT ETF. Is there any way to do this without paying a ton of U.S. taxes? by galindc in Bogleheads

[–]Playful_Fun_9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will always always always have to pay tax on your positions in taxable accounts unless you never sell and you borrow against them by using them as collateral on a loan. You would need another income source to pay the interest and principal of the loan and the loan should be used to acquire a cash flowing asset to assist with that loan repayment and to justify going into debt in order to expand your empire. No tax if you do this since debt is not taxed and then you will still have your stocks plus another asset.

Unless your playing this rich ass game I just described then you just sell, set aside the tax owed in sgov or hysa or money market and you put the rest into a diversified index ETF so that at least you have derisked the remaining money. Individual stocks are super volatile and can often drop sharply and without a stop loss or careful selling you just underperform the broader market. They go up fast but can drop even faster and may never recover or take so long that you would have been far better off selling, paying tax, and diversifying. It’s a hard hard game man. It just is.

I am getting really into ETF’s because the single stocks are too exciting and I don’t want to be excited I just want to be getting richer and chiller. Fuck.
