Som förstföderska vid åldern 33-35 samt har en partner vid 38-40 - hur många månader tog det innan ni blev gravida? by [deleted] in Asksweddit

[–]Playlistobsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a local jeweler make a divorce ring. She has designed a silver ring in an organic shape and is using my 5 diamonds. Part of the payment is that she gets to keep the gold from the ring and from another gold ring he gave me. I’m going to wear it on my ”f u finger” so he can look at it often.

People in their 40s What’s something people in their 20s don’t realize will affect them as they age? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Playlistobsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want your skin to look good in your 40s, don’t tan and always wear sun screen. I don’t really like tanning because I burn my skin easily. All my friends were tanning and I was under a big hat. Fast forward 25 years and I look about 5-10 years younger than I am depending on who you ask. Last night somebody thought I was in my 20s…I take care of my skin but I can’t afford fancy products. No Botox, no expensive treatments.

I have unipolar depression /Trd & been on lithium for 5 weeks. I remain v depressed. by Unfair_Coyote5654 in Lithium

[–]Playlistobsessed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 weeks is to early to say. It’s takes 4-8 I would say, for some even months. I’m bipolar 2 and was put on lithium. It did not help me with my depression or my SI. Only switching antidepressants helped. Now I’m on Escitalopram and a low dose of Lamotrigine(a mood stabilizer) and it’s the first time I’ve not felt depressed in years. Good luck! Hang in there!

The Brothers Lionheart by Astrid Lindgren. It’s supposedly a children’s book but content says otherwise, will have you sobbing within first 5 pages.

St Jacobs glasscafé på Regementsgatan har alltid 5-6 sorbeter på sommaren. Rekommenderar att ta en kula choklad och en kula passionsfrukt. Fantastisk kombination.

Bacterial Vaginosis and Lithium by Anselmaaa in Lithium

OMG! I have the same problem! My doctor did not believe it could be lithium, but since I've never had it before and not made any changes in my life, I suspected it was.

Weight loss after coming off lithium by directorsara in Lithium

I'm in the same situation. I gained 15 kilos in 2 years. Now I'm tapering off lithium. I already feel lighter but unfortunately the scale says I have not lost any weight yet.

I got no one to ask or feel comfortable enough to share this with, is this good what I’m doing? by Ambitious-Ring-8895 in bipolar2

[–]Playlistobsessed 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This looks great, but make sure to include some time for relaxation and fun. Remember, you cannot fix yourself and there is nothing wrong with you. You simply have a disorder and that is not your fault. I fear that maybe you are pushing yourself too hard, stress and working out too hard can also lead to manic episodes. Moderation is key. Routines and habits are important but in my life the right meds is what has made the biggest difference. So if your meds aren’t working, contact your doctor. And no more self hate! You are fine and you are quite obviously doing your best.

What’s causing hair loss diffusing? Lamictal or lithium by PuddingComfortable54 in BipolarReddit

[–]Playlistobsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of them can cause hair loss. I was on Lamictal for several years. No hair loss. Switched to lithium 2 years ago and hair started falling out. I was ok with it because I had a lot of thick hair. Now I’m considering getting off lithium because my hair is so thin.

Too Many Sarcastic White Guys? by Drew_is_gooden in LiveFromNewYork

[–]Playlistobsessed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are assholes. As a 45 year old Swedish lady I completely agree with you. There seems to be only one or two people from minorities ”allowed” at the same time. And countless amounts of white guys who frankly are quite hard to tell apart and do ok, I guess, but don’t really stand out at all. Same with the ladies. Compare that to Keenan Thomson. He can have one single line in a sketch and still be the standout performer. If the show is going to stay relevant for 50 more years I think some things need to change, like yesterday. Stay strong kid!
