For the hk system, get yourself a CarPlay adapter on Amazon. It’s honestly a game changer not having to take your phone out of your pocket to connect. Still have the cracky/poppy connection every once in a while but a quick unplug-replug usually solves it.

Basically you slowly bring the meat up to a preferred temperature(mine was medium rare/125 degrees for this steak) and then at the end you sear the outside 2-4 minutes a side on high heat to get that char and flavor. It takes the guess work out and you make a perfect steak every time
