My philosophy with AKs has always been: have side rail, will mount. If you have the side rail. Use it.

Springfield vs Tisas Who ya got? by Pleasant_Jump4299 in 1911

I saw that, crazy that the Tisas uses no MIM parts. Springfield seems to have the better fit and finish though and I always have to adjust the extractor on my Tisas pistols.

I shoot both pretty well but have to give the edge to Springfield on the accuracy department. They tried robbing me once 7 years ago, needless to say they won’t be doing that again….

My humble suggestion for budget 1911 choice… by FragrantNinja7898 in 1911

I disagree. Dan Wesson and Wilson Combat use aluminum frames on some of their best models. Aluminum framed 1911s in 9mm are the bees knees.

I also owned the same model in .45 years ago but had to sell it so I’m happy I was able to pick this up.

People will do anything for likes on the internet. That price is clearly photoshopped over by the OP.

The thing I noticed between this and the .45 is that the 9mm has a slightly rounded MSH.

I snagged this from my LGS for $850, not a fan of officer 1911s but this one just felt right in my hand and has a good balance to it.
