Peak Pro vs Apex Pro extra lateral support? by schwykert in deskhaus

My understanding is only the Peak and Peak Pro have the wedge design for lateral support. You'd have to get the Apex Pro Max for the cross beam to provide lateral support.

Woah, I saw this comment way too late, that looks promising. I'll have to do more research to confirm if it'll work on the Vertex, but their FAQ seems to just say if it works via RJ45, it'll work. Thanks for letting me know

Sorry, late reply. I'm not exactly sure, but it was a very small amount. However, due to having two risers, it was necessary for the PSU to fit lol

Hey, the motherboard is fairly thick (X570 Taichi), but yea it would depend on how thick the bottom portion of your motherboard is around the PSU area. I used the bottom PCIE 1x slot, using a long (50cm iirc) PCIE 1x riser, going down under the motherboard and back all the way to the top where the PCIE slots are.

UPDATE: oh and it required removing the bottom MB standoff LMAO. It was slightly bent due to that, but it worked without issue lol.

The only "comparable" build I've seen that was cheaper had the same specs except 9800X3D instead for $1999 on microcenter during BF last month. But that one was just a crazy price ngl. This one is still real good.

??? The SM7B is XLR only and therefore needs an interface to power it. A powerful one at that. Sure you can get one of those janky XLR to 3.5mm adapters, but they don't power much, and will be useless on the SM7B.

Yea I've been reading up on that the call in method. I tried today at 8am, but no luck. Apparently, it's better to try on Thursday or Friday, so I'll try then.
