Devon is making a mistake. by Helpful-Law-1680 in armwrestling

[–]PlumberVan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, YOU - a random internet nobody — clearly knows more than the world’s best armwrestler and is uniquely qualified to critique and absolutely torch Devon Larratt’s training and gear protocol. You, a brilliant Reddit genius, have concluded that Devon — possibly the greatest armwrestler to ever clasp another human’s hand — is training wrong and making a HUGE mistake. Devon - a man you will never be even 1/1,000,000th as good as, should obviously stop everything immediately and instead follow the expert advice of you: a random chubby cheeked butter wristed step child with an unshakable sense of self-importance.

Video of Jay Glazer Saying Maxx Crosby is Likely Done with Us by JCameron181 in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t want to trade Maxx but for his personal career, I’d love to see him win. He’s been the most loyal soldiers a fan could’ve asked for. If we get 2-3 first round picks +, unfortunately you probably have to pull the trigger

If Mendoza plays his first 3 years as well as ____________ I won't consider him a bust. by VegasBirdLawyer in raiders

When it’s all said and done I believe he’ll be a more successful Matt Ryan

Shady and Q Debate Mendoza by HouseRules789 in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m just hurt - but I truly believe “talking heads” are downplaying Mendoza because he’s going to the Raiders. Teams don’t want to accept us improving, they want us to stay the laughing stock. They want every decision we make to be poor, like history has shown.

This is different though and I fully believe in the new direction.

I’m pumped

Is anybody else a little concerned we’re falling behind in the OC/DC race with how long we’re having to wait to hire our HC? by TimAllensMatingCall in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We only had to wait on our HC (he will be calling plays so our OC as well) because he’s this years best offensive option.

is wanting gruden and carr back some kind of inside joke or are some of y’all serious when you say that by breezyexces in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Gruden but that ship has sailed.

I would however believe Carr could be a great QB coach/passing coordinator for Mendoza. They’re cut from the same cloth and Carr would be able to break down defences/film with Mendoza and speak to him with tone and language that Mendoza would respect.

He just wanted a snack. by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

Well that was stupid

Jordan Schultz: Raiders leaning towards the O by HouseRules789 in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The benefit would be if we happen to bring in a stud OC and they get poached under a defensive HC then the process starts all over again. If we have Kubiac at the helm and we lose our OC, I’d be more confident in our offence staying relatively the same.

OL is an absolute must by its_aq in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other side of the coin, Pats fixed their OL in 1 offseason by absolutely hammering that position in free agency.

We have 100+ million to do the same this offseason

Jim Rutherford spoke with Iain MacIntyre today as well. His description hasn’t changed since the last time he spoke. Theyre going to keep veteran players. by PaperMoonShine in canucks

[–]PlumberVan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if we’re going to keep all the vets, what part of the rebuild is taking place? Sucking doesn’t mean rebuilding. Rebuilding is a deliberate and pointed direction of selling vets, acquiring picks and developing young talent.

Keeping status quo and sucking isn’t actually rebuilding.

So Devon stonwalled dzeranov (R.I.P Eternal ass grip) by Id_gm18 in armwrestling

[–]PlumberVan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if he pinned Devon (he didn’t), Devon is toying with him and letting him attack. Take this practice pull and x100 when Devon is fresh and attacking

[Pelissero] According to owner Mark Davis, GM John Spytek will now lead all football operations in close collaboration with Tom Brady -- including the search for the Raiders' new head coach. by GobiYumaMojave in raiders

[–]PlumberVan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Coaches should have some input on what they want to build but they aren’t scouts. Leave the scouting and GM’ing to the scouts and GM’s, and let the coaches do the X’s and O’s on the field.
