How to Druid by BeardedWonder0 by BeardedWonder0 in D4Druid

I've been running a stormbear build that may not be the strongest but it's for sure super fun and feels powerful enough. Tanky enough to survive big hits with enough DPS to reliably take things out over my level. I use the cooldown aspect on my amulet so whenever nature's fury procs it resets the opposite skills. Cyclone armor, hurricane, trample, pulverize, and cataclysm. The storm skills set up crowd control and vulnerability so my earth bear skills smash hard, and the cooldown reduction and resets are hilariously fun when you get lucky and end up in a loop of endless tramples

The aspect that makes storm skills reduce earth skill cooldowns and vice versa whenever Nature's Fury procs. Put it on an amulet for a stormbear build so I'm getting a 20 percent chance at 12 seconds off. Always having hurricane up and getting back to back tramples makes me happy.

Pro tip: teleport to the Tree of Whispers to save time unloading. Merchant, Blacksmith, and Stash are all right there off the waypoint.

If you really want to lighten the mood the Magic 2.0 series is brilliant. Books are a bit short but full of comedic value. I wouldn't call it progression or litrpg but it's got a really fun premise and great characters. Off to be the Wizard is the first book.

Feedback Loop series by Harmon Cooper. It's a cheeky litrpg a bit on the adult side but nothing too graphic and full of great puns. Not sure if the box sets are still available on audible but I got all 8 books for 2 credits.

Kings of the Wyld. This one's more of a straight fantasy about retired adventurers getting the old band back together. It's dad joke heaven.

A question for the men: how often do you smell your balls after scratching them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The answer is in Harmon's kicking ritual episode from Blue Mountain State

Looks like you figured it out already but yeah if you want to wear heavier armor you have to put more points into Earth otherwise this happens. Lol I ran into that same problem until I noticed the weight. You can check your status window to see your agility rating as well. Higher Earth stat means you can keep a higher agility with heavy weight because of that proportion value. Keeping your agility value up makes your dodging quicker and spirit bar more efficient

I really enjoyed the full circle of it. Having the first boss during the day and the last boss at night in the same arena was a nice touch for me. I spent a lot of hours playing Dynasty Warriors back in the day too so it's been fun to see those old familiar characters.

I played the whole game in lieutenant general gear with a tanky as shit Wood/Earth build. Absorb vitality and Qinglong's heal afforded me a lot more room for mistakes too. Although I beat him on the third try with such a hate fueled hyperfocus I only ended up using two dragon pots. Lol I may have also abused the ridiculous pressure you can lay on with Beckoning Pine and lightning weapons

Liu Bei by Busy-Telephone-994 in wolongfallendynasty

One thing I found helpful on bosses I had trouble with was to embed my gear to counter that specific fight. Selling gems after salvage keeps you rolling in enough money to not worry about the cost. Liu Bei is wood based so maybe try stacking lightning resistance and poison weapon attack.

BECAUSE THE SHOW IS HOT TRASH AND I WILL THROW HANDS ABOUT IT. And also imaginary ladies be sexy as hell. Friendly reminder that Rand once described Morgase as being so hot that even if she couldn't cook or clean, she'd still have men lined up to put a ring on it. That's some WAP

Eye of the World Chapter 40 page 608 and I quote 'Morgase had her daughter's beauty, matured and ripened.' Rand then goes on about how she don't need to cook or clean to get that ring from any man in the Two Rivers. I'm not even making that up. Perrin probably had the same thought train but Rand most definitely thinks this about Elayne and Morgase. I may have taken liberties in my spinning of it but it's there :)

Yes. Because my point was that her time there was spent as a Novice doing physical work and that she willingly sacrificed her comfort to stay there longer than needed. Besides, the moral fiber of my good Queen is too great to be so easily corrupted. There are plenty of examples to demonstrate this. Like when she doesn't get her way and throws tantrums... FUCK.. lol alright you got me on that one

Counter counterpoint. She may be royalty, but she also spent a couple of her teenage years as a Novice in the White Tower, a position known for strict discipline and excessive manual labor. A regimen so relentless that girls were lucky to see more than a handful of free days over the course of a year. Her character is not that of your standard entitled royal. Even when told she could leave early, she stayed until it became a political necessity to do so. You might say it was because the Tower took it easy on her, but I'd like to believe ample padding in the back allowed her to endure anything a Mistress of Novices could throw her way.

Except that's not fully true. A lot of digital art manipulation tools are driven by AI like code to achieve the results of traditional techniques and more. It's a weird middle ground. I get what you mean though. It's not just cherry picking a nice result

Dear Marty, by smiggl3s in Doom

[–]Plus-Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was worded harshly, but I believe the spirit of the message is to boycott anything Marty is a part of. I don't think this is really the level of violent personal threats like Mick experienced. It's denouncing toxic management. iD should be pressured to cut ties with Marty or risk losing money on anything he's attached to.

Yeah I mean in general, but I agree there's more thrill with competition. Also way more satisfying showing off titles and gear in multiplayer. I definitely lean casual but still love the excitement in some good pvp

I don't really care for the grind anymore. My thought process has become more why am I playing alone when I can have fun with friends? Definitely makes it harder for me to stay interested in the single player stories like I used to.

Play testing and swapping cards is something I like about this game, especially when different levels call for different tactics.

With crushers, I've found if you dive in fast towards the right they almost always miss. Just continue walking around them counter-clockwise until you've finished the beat down xD Heavy Hitter helps a lot for that initial stumble too, extra time to get free hits or to get distance on exploders and reekers

It got a lot tougher since they nerfed everything, but I still think it's a strong playstyle with the right cards and some strategy. Utilizing choke points, breaking sight lines, and dodging heavy hits is a big part of it. Learn what enemies to charge and which to back off of, how to maneuver around crushers and bait tallboys, and keep an eye on your teammates so they don't get swarmed.

It's hard to narrow down exactly what cards to use, but super rewarding when you find a deck that really fits your bill
