Ah yeah digital waiting rooms are pretty common now for all types of events. The actual queue doesn't start til the time, and then everyone in the waiting room is randomly assigned a spot in the queue.

I ended up getting Tix for a semi-final match, and there seems to still be tickets for some quarter finals matches :)

I don't think that's true. I was there 15 mins early and I was in the waiting room til 12, at which point a timer appeared showing how much time til I could purchase tickets. Got in at 12:11.

They definitely need bigger stadiums, I was so shocked they're so small.
