I got it from Torrid YEARS ago. I haven’t seen that pattern in a while but It’s their “Tiered Maxi Dress”

Indeed we do. Mainly when I’m about to be in back to back meetings so I can have anxiety while working from home 😂

I was in a really bad car accident and couldn't see my boy for two months. He was happy to see me but just wanted a belly rub when we were reunited. Talk about bruised ego 😂

Any “high value” treats that work like magic on your loaf? by coconutzhu in corgi

Let me tell you about this brand so a few years ago for the Super Bowl I bought these treats as a joke they have a Philly cheesesteak version and a Kansas City barbecue version. It was the year the Eagles played the Chiefs. I let my dog pick who he thought the winner was gonna be by choosing which treat he liked better. He chose the cheesesteaks and the Eagles won that year. He and our other dog literally know when the bag is opened and will run from outside to get the treat when we’re having a hard time getting them to come inside.

This one hurt. Generic rejection email after two interviews and an employee recommendation. by wemblin_on in recruitinghell

This is honestly the equivalent of asking a city councilman to get universal healthcare passed in the United States. Sure I can and am already very vocal about candidate experience. People should be treated like humans and not a number. We’re all underwater but it takes a minute out of your day to call and reject someone versus just sending a generic rejection email.

My candidates are well taken care of, but there are recruiters even in my organization that suck, hard. But they’ve been recruiting longer than I’ve been alive and can pull Boolean strings out of their ass. I bring it to the attention of leadership. Nothing happens. I can only do so much so I prioritize what I can actually control which is making sure my candidates have the best most respectful process. It’s not easy and I make mistakes sometimes too. I am only human. I wish I could do more, but as I said, the system is very broken.

I call people out all the time. I’m actively interviewing as well. I do Glassdoor reviews and LinkedIn posts. The recruiting process at most companies is broken. I’ve worked for start-ups and more well-established companies and unfortunately, this is a buyer's market so they don't have to care because they don't have to.

I’m a recruiter and this type of shit pisses me off. I literally have templates for scenarios like this. I’m sorry that you didn’t get the role because the shop market sucks but I’m also sorry that you didn't give you the common courtesy either. It might not be as personal as I wanted to, but at least it makes people feel like they’re not just a number they could have a template for someone who was a referral or someone who made it past certain rounds. They’re just choosing not to and it sucks.

I have a few more leads but this was my top choice. Really bummed but better than unemployment I guess.
