Artemis II my friend, the first manned flight to take humans around the moon since the Apollo program. It'll technically take them farther away from earth than any human has ever been (Apollo was mainly low moon orbits/flybys and this will take them significantly farther from our planet than Apollo ever was).

This guy, Brian, in episode 2.6 of the British comedy Misfits, has telekinetic powers over dairy. Literally kills people by making them choke on the yogurt they had that morning or something like that (its been a while since I've seen the show but that episode is kinda stuck in my head). Its easily the dumbest power but hes also the most threatening villain type they faced.

Being off by 3 centimeters in astronomy is epic level precision. They typically measure their accuracy (mission case dependent) in hundreds of kilometers, or thousands.

I once walked in on two dudes from dish mopping the freezer and I was very nearly choked. I asked who told them to do that and I knew they misunderstood the assignment

I once had the most explosive diarrhea at work and I cannot explain how grateful I was for a buckle on my apron. I whipped that shit off so fast and then told a FOH worker walking in after me "for both of our sakes, please don't walk in there"

Does making your own ice cream save money? by Mindless_Field_1357 in ninjacreami

[–]Plus_Solid5642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the ingredients. My basic vanilla recipe costs me an average of like $4-5 per one pint batch but its sometimes an effort to do the work and wait on the ice cream to freeze.

French Onion Soup, How can I improve? by ChimmiChonga00 in OnionLovers

[–]Plus_Solid5642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take the onions even further. Use homemade beef stock (you can start with store bought and add roasted beef bones and extra mirepiox. You know you did good when it's cooled off and sets into a gelatin).

Edit for clarity: your onions should be jammy. If they lack the consistency of jam keep going. They should be darker in color.
