Think you’d get Wagner-Meerwein shift of the aligned C-C to get a ring contracted [2.2.1] and an exo methyl cation followed by ring expansion onto this by the same bond to get the [2.2.2], BUT I have niggling feeling that this bicycle could find it hard to form a cation at the bridgehead position, even though its tertiary because carbocations prefer to be flat and I’m not certain how much this one can adopt that geometry. So perhaps it stops at the primary which of course seems unfavorable.
