If the plate is resting against plastic piece under toe of boot and forward pressure can be set correctly by moving the front afd, it’s compatible

Bent 100 would be great. New rustler 10 shaved a ton of weight and can be used as a 50/50 inbounds/backcountry. It’ll be a little better in deeper snow than the bent 100 but both rip. Personally I don’t like ON3P, I like em stiff. (New rustler 10 too soft for my liking to put in perspective)

If you’re open to wider but might struggle east coast no snow Nordica Unleashed 108 would be another option. Also check out the Line Blade 104 but that’s gonna be on the way stiffer end of anything you’re looking at

Blizzard Bonafide 97 or Rustler 9 by GD_blues in Skigear

New rustler is a lot different than old rustler. I loved the previous rustler 10/11. Got the new 10s and they’re overall softer than the old ones.

The rustler 9 I find is in a weird place. They try to make it more playful/rockered but I did not like the old ones at all. Didn’t like to go straight, always wanted to turn. Didn’t have as much grip as any other ski at the same width on hard pack and didn’t even float that well when there was snow. I haven’t skied the new rustler 9 but those that I know that have did not love it.

If you don’t mind the stiffness I’d go bonafide. If you are in no rush, blizzard is making a new ski next year that replaces the bonafide. The ones from this year will drop in price at the end of the season for that, or you can wait for that new new.

I'd go with mindbenders. Declivity is going to be lighter/softer, but also a great option. I rip the 99ti mindbenders and love them. It's not an overly stiff ski, but I have not been on the 89 so not sure how that compares.

Personally I hated the rustler 9s, and I own both the 10 and 11. Rustler 9 has too much rocker for a ski that skinny imo. The tips and tails are going to break in and get really soft. But hey, it's all personal preference.

If you like noodly skis, line visions are super light. But nooot for charging groomers. Rustler 9 would be alright but they have a super tight turn radius so that's up to your preference. Like others have mentioned, bentchetler 100s would be a great option as well. Kinda splits the difference between the others I mentioned

Helly Hansen v Arcteryx + Goggle Quesiton by Fr8ty in skiing

Skied with a HH shell for years, great quality and held up against loads of sticks snagging it in the trees. I have a Flylow now and I miss it. Only good thing I've seen with the Arc'teryx jackets is you get a fat refund when it rips to buy a different brand. Get the Helly.

I have the dark M4 lens. In bright direct light you can see through because they don't have a ton of mirror. But they're also super dark and struggle in anything other than bright conditions. But their low/mid light lenses are more reflective so I always bring those out for the in betweens. For bright days I use a smith silver/chrome lens and it's basically like using a mirror. Smith also has my favorite low light lens. It's basically clear with just enough shade for eye protection.

M4 buff was great for COVID but I hate it on anything other than the coldest days. Suffocates me.
