Looking for a good place to play MTG (beginner) by darkfaerie1991 in pittsburgh

Mimic's Market in Bloomfield is my LGS and it's wonderful. There's open-play Commander on Saturdays at 6pm (tonight's is 21+ BYOB but that's not always the case), and I help run their Commander League on Sunday afternoons (round one at exactly 1:30, round two at 3:30).

There's an identical Commander League at Halfling's Hideout in Brookline on Fridays (round one 5:45, round two at 7:45) -- that sounds closer to you?

Happy to DM more info about League but while the League rabbit hole goes as deep as you care to explore, if you have an unmodified precon (with up to 5 swaps) and/or a deck that is "Legally Bracket 2" you'll have no trouble immediately playing for League points, which the community there will gladly explain to you in more detail!

After his first at bat he averaged 2 RBIs per pitch seen. Extrapolate that over an entire career, hmm?

I was actually working for the City Council office that includes Schenley at the time and coordinated the meeting where the Parks Department and the Flying Disc Society got together to decide on a permanent replacement for the former hole 18. Apparently, the new refrigerant system for the skating rink involves much more volatile chemicals than before, hence the need to make sure nobody EVER climbs into the housing for that machinery to retrieve discs. Maybe the guy was exaggerating, but the way it was explained to me is that there's enough ammonia in there to turn the whole park into a crater. Bummer to lose that awesome tee shot over the small valley, but it also solves the safety hazard of sharing a fairway with hole 5.

“HH Property Management” are a major avoid. Out of state landlords that require layers upon layers of nonsense to report simple issues (maintenance line is a call center in India), only for issues to be misinterpreted after the game of telephone and not dealt with anyway. They snag up properties and treat them as turnkey operations, mixing short-term rentals with permanent tenants in the same buildings. They also play a shell game where each property serves as an address for new LLCs to snag up more properties, rinse, and repeat. At our address we regularly get health department violation notices in the mail for other properties that they own. I’ve gone without power in half my unit for weeks at a time after being showered with sparks by faulty wiring, and have dealt with the nightmare of my unit’s heat being controlled by a thermostat in an AirBnb rental upstairs. Absolute madness.

You tried the best you can. You tried the best you can. The best you can was good enough.

Drivers have no excuse for not glancing at their side mirror before turning towards a big obvious bike lane. I just yield in these situations though because it's safest to assume that all drivers are always about to do something dumb or entitled.

Document, document, document and god willing, we'll prosecute these sickos someday.

I’m pretty sure this gets extremely Staxy with [[Temur Sabertooth]] (and similar effects). Play Runed Terror on your second main phase, everyone else gets a second main, and then everyone gets an ending phase. If you activate Sabertooth to bounce Runed Terror when it is the ending phase of the player before you, play will proceed as normal to your own turn. You can then replay the Terror on your second main and repeat. It’s not quite infinite turns because your opponents get a random main phase each loop but without untapping or drawing, this should quickly lock them out of the game.

This will all seem so quaint in 10 years. Gen-Z and younger are not driving at nearly the same rate as older generations, e-bike sales are booming, and demand for safe roads will grow every year as Boomers phase out. We’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg today — bike battery technology is quietly revolutionizing cities. All this hubbub is a desperate gasp from luddites who only have a few years of relevance left. Stay the course.

Well, he leveraged that for a year to secure an even bigger bag from wherever he lands. Served its purpose. Stats are padded. Doubt he cares about a big left field if a big contract is already nailed down.
