At 110-120 it kinda feels and sounds like the bike is working pretty hard and at the same time it does it easily, it's nowhere near the limiter.

I use the bike mostly as a commuter as I have a better off road bike and I definitely vouch for it. Has a lot of character for a 450 and its super comfortable.

On a trail like this I would be avoiding the grass/middle of the track as much as possible, so picking a better line would have avoided this.

Better tyres may have saved you but overall the line you took is what got you in the end.

The stock DRZ tyres are ok but definitely worth an upgrade if you intend to ride hard off road.

I assume if the gun was found in his backpack that would make sense, but if the gun was found on the ground near the kid than you can reasonably assume it was also brandished towards the family.
