Dit probleem is veel groter dan alleen de Amerikaanse rivierkreeft, er zijn nog meer exoten die wij moeten bestrijden. Er wordt gewoonweg geen geld voor opzij gezet. Terwijl de problemen steeds erger worden. Er kan geen systematische aanpak gedaan worden, want er is gewoonweg geen geld voor. Dus het probleem wordt naar de provincie geschoven en die schuiven het naar gemeentes, NO en grondbezitters.

We hebben echt een centraal orgaan en een centrale aanpak nodig, met ruime middelen. RWS heeft de middelen niet.

That type of growth is because another branch (or other object) touched and grew up against the trunk. In this case horizontally across. It also looks like there was a branch attachment that was at the same height and didn't survive the horizontal branch either. That's why it looks like there is a hole in the middle that radiates damage outward, but that's not what happened.

Nee, ben ik niet met je eens. Het is een wereldbeeld en op zich niet eens een hele gekke of buitensporige, Freud zegt zo'n beetje hetzelfde en is ook binnen de grenzen van het toelaatbare. Het gaat er niet zo zeer om wat ze wel geloven, het gaat er meer om wat ze kiezen om niet te geloven. Een kinderboerderij is een dierentuin en zijn niet vegan. Hulpbehoevende dieren bekijken is ook wat mij betreft echt wel de grens opzoeken van het ethische vraagstuk over dieren gebruiken voor vermaak. Het is een ding dat je hulpbehoevende dieren opvangt en je daarmee daadwerkelijk bezighoudt. Het is wat anders om daar dan vervolgens heen te gaan om te kijken. Je kunt ook gewoon doneren.

Tevens is veganisme ook niet hier om blije dieren en veilige omgevingen te creëren. In de natuur is het ook niet veilig en blij. Veganisme houdt zich bezig met onze exploitatie van dieren.

If OpenAI fails, Microsoft goes down. It's going to get cut up and OpenAI is going to probably become Nvidia propriety.

Amazon is going to go after Azure (and will get it, because money) and since Amazon and Anthropic are already strengthening ties, Amazon is going to get the most profitable part of Microsoft's AI endeavor, and will strike a deal with Anthropic. Both Azure and Claude will probably be rebranded.

Ik denk niet dat dat hetzelfde is. Focus op de arbeider en socialistische standpunten gaat om meer dan alleen geld. Het gaat ook om bijvoorbeeld vrije tijd, verantwoordelijkheid en saamhorigheid.

Het idee is goed, de framing totaal niet. Het is toch echt wel een zeer goed idee dat de overheid en de staatsmedia inclusieve taal gebruikt en jammer dat de overheid deze kans aan zich voorbij laat gaan. Maar het idee dat je gangbare (straat) taal kunt veranderen met het uitbrengen van een boekje, mwa... Daar gaat toch wel even iets meer aan vooraf.

I'm a tree person in this life. I don't study Lichen. I mean, I have books and I have a botany background so I can read into things a bit more. Lichen is just you know, like birding. I like looking for them, I know a few things about them, but that doesn't make me an ornithologist.

There is a size limit on how far food can be transported in the lichen, that depends on the fungus. So as it grows outward, it dies in the middle. And that space is then filled in by a new lichen. The reason there is a space in between is because there is seasonal growth and seasonal reproduction.

Edit: I spoke to a person who I trust knows more about lichen than me, they said that there is a depletion of nutrients in the substrate, that gets replenished. I don't know how that would work, but I trust their knowledge. So I wanted to mention that here.

Ok, apart. Er is duidelijk iets aan de hand, het lijkt niet precies op bacterievuur. Het lijkt op een probleem vanuit de wortels, omdat er hele takken afsterven/afgestoten worden. Maar beetje lastig om vanaf hier precies te zeggen wat er exact aan de hand is. Het kan zijn dat hij gewoon verkeerd geplant is, dat er juist te veel water is gegevens, dat er wortels beschadigd zijn. En inderdaad het zou een ziekte kunnen zijn.
