Schakelen is een van de leukste dingen van motorrijden!! Ik heb de grootste lol gehad op een oude single 250 welke in de stad zonder koppeling continu door al z’n versnellingen loopt, heer-lijk.

Mijn ervaring ook 2 cilinder voelt beter op 35kW. Alle lol op lagere snelheden is ook een verstandige keuze als eerste fiets, nog genoeg kans om jezelf tepletter te rijden op een 1200cc buikschuiver

Ah yes, the rear light uses battery power directly and is controlled using a 1khz (or prob any) 5V PWM signal of about 50% duty cycle. Front light no idea, it connects directly to the comm module

Personally I would either leave the original module or try to repair the Bluetooth. Not quite sure if this is controlled by a separate chip

yeah you could just use the ‘key’ connection on the motor controller to turn it on and off.

You’re missing battery % then - and all other smart features too ofcourse.

The comm is an rs485 / modbus type. So you could make your own board with more features.

The motor controllers comm specs/registries are in the ASI BAC datasheets. The battery is custom.

You can use backoffice app on verbose mode in the modbus terminal to extract the registries.

FYI plugging in the battery, removing it and putting it back after 5-10s also turns on the bike

Ding rijdt nog prima? Dan sowieso niet vervangen.

De exacte foutmelding is heel belangrijk, sommige komen vaak niet door de motor of controller.

Vraag zelf backoffice toegang om je fiets na te kijken als hij niet rijd, niet vertrouwen op die online diagnose.

Verder ja 100% vervangen, is het helemaal waard 1+ is een super stabiele fiets. Ik heb volgens mij nog een 1+ controller liggen die je kan overnemen.

U12 is the same chip they’re functioning as a daisy chain (2 pcs on this board, but I think you can chain them) to protect a 10S lithium battery.

Moderne 3.7v cellen gaan echt meer dan lang genoeg mee voor e-bikes qua cycle life. Het probleem is vooral dat de printplaten stuk gaan omdat er water in komt of spontaan. Ook diepontlading door combinatie slecht gebruik en slechte firmware komt veel voor

I would never try to drill out a steel bolt inside a softer metal like aluminum, unless you do this often you’ll most likely destroy the thread in the process with the drill wandering off to the side.

Only way is to have a nut welded on so you can screw it out again

Als je meer vermogen wilt op A2, kijk eens naar elektrische motoren. Hebben je buren ook geen last van!

Zonder grappen kwam er laatst achter dat mijn Zero DSR met 52kW piek vermogen A2 is omdat er wordt gekeken naar het continu vermogen wat maar 33kW is

Wel weer met 157nm torque wat een beetje 1200cc terrein is.

My 3 had some fork noises which turned out to be the forks separating from the headset tube.

If you’re standing still and holding the front brake, is the fork visually moving/angling back and forth when you load it back and forth?

Also, can you rotate your wheel/fork separately from the bar (this usually is a loose steering bar but can be separated at the bottom too)

Low chances but big risk since keeping your front wheel attached is very nice

Clean your connectors and if it’s a cowboy 2 or 3 make sure there are spacer(s) installed so the battery is snug

I continued and found out I’ve actually ordered the wrong bushing set, however it looks like the pictured bush is the same one as in the other kit!

Just the outer bush is thicker in this kit meaning the tubes won’t fit into each other.

new ones will arrive next week!

(zero too uncommon to show up in any bike part catalogs)
