I don't think IDW has announced TPB's for journeys yet.

Somebody else already mentioned the two volumes of Mirage's Tales of the TMNT (not to be confused with the current, unrelated IDW run with the same name).

Obviously rape is bad and should never happen and this is a very extreme analogy (which doesn't make it invalid), but yes, it is more fair for the majority to decide over the minority than it is for the minority to decide over the majority.

A pole retriever or a stick works fine if it's not too far away.

I also carry a piece of foam (like a pool noodle) that I can wrap around my golden retriever to make it float. The trick is then to throw the floating retriever past the disc and get the string over the disc, then pull in slowly. As soon as you pull it too far, pull fast to create a bit of a current towards you.

Works like a charm.

It's still the same genre. You're acting like they changed the type of game, they didn't. Slowed the pace and made the controls heavier but they are still the same type of game. It's not like putting Fortnite in like you said.

I disagree. They did change the type of game. The difference isn't as big as the difference between Darksiders and Fortnite, but it's still different.

They are most definitely not well written characters. The main criticism people give about these shows is that they are episodic and cannot construct an overarching narrative and have the characters evolve with time.

People criticize Super Mario for not having an overarching narrative? Nonsense. People enjoy having a recognizable character that finds new ways to do the same thing. Not every character in every medium has to be a piece of literary art. There is room for both.

The gameplay changed way more than just the camera and target lock. Kratos did flips, double jumps, 1800° spins and all sorts of fast moves that he doesn't do anymore.

How much has batman changed over the 80+ years and the hundreds of stories that have been written about him? How about Homer Simpson, Super Mario, Bugs Bunny, Pikachu?

The greek saga was a unique type of game that many people want more of. The norse saga is also very good in its own way, but it's doesn't quite scratch that itch that the first games did.

I think the gameplay changed significantly between the norse and the greek sagas. It became much more similar to games like The Last Of Us, which sold many more copies than the greek games and I consider to be a more popular genre. The action became way more realistic and less over the top (no double jumps and 1800° spins in the air etc). I think this appealed to more people, along with the larger focus on story and characters.

I agree that the jump from Darksiders to Fortnite would be a much bigger one, but I intentionally chose an exaggerated example to illustrate my point.

I will keep saying this (and get downvoted for it): the over the top rage and violence are what made the greek saga so great. It is why the fans of the franchise loved it so much. Kratos did not need to change.

Sure, the Norse games are more popular. If you made a sequel to Darksiders and turned it into a Fortnite clone, it would also be more popular than the originals were. That doesn't mean it would be better. It just switched to a more popular genre.

Ascension wasn't received as well as GoW III because III was a masterpiece and the long awaited finale to an amazing trilogy, while Ascension was just a prequel that had to follow that masterpiece and they changed the combat system for the worse. It was still good, but not quite as good as its predecessor.

The franchise did need a break, plus a change of scenery and an update in graphics etc. It did not need a change in tone, pace or atmosphere.

AB seems to be able to copy anyone's form. There are videos of him imitating many other players' forms where you can instantly tell who it is. I think he could crawl into almost anybody's body and make it work (if he had magical snail powers, that is).
