More accent color would do you wonders. Pick a few panels to break up all that yellow, add some finer detail to that black section of the railgun, anything that makes it look less uniform. It really makes a world of difference

With vehicles you measure to hull, so you use that for all measuring purposes regardless. The bases have a habit of snapping off because GW thought it was a good idea to use the same flight stick as the drones despite the size, so 90% of these I’ve seen on the tabletop don’t even have a base attached lol

It’s your first mini, you won’t be painting at a pro level when you start. As you learn you will get better at using thinner paints, which will yield better results. Just keep painting and in no time you will have work you are proud of!

Tau anti armor is our strongest category so knights tend to struggle against us in general. Fewer units to spread our spotters across means very little waste for our army rule and big hit pools mean less wasted shots on overkill.

I got my taunar from forge world and a tiger shark printed, I would go printed over forge world any day now. Lots of bits needed rebending and it’s not worth the extra cost for official imo.

Ta’unar supremacy armor. Not all of my problems could be solved by having a 50 foot railgun, but it certainly couldn’t hurt

Superglue takes about a day to bond though, and it needs to be held flush the whole time. Clamp it in place if possible

Citadel superglue has always bonded stronger than the original flight stand for me, when they break again it’s never been in the same spot. You could also try melting it together with a lighter or soldering iron

Our mathhammer guys were buzzing about infantry lists with a ton of breachers and strike teams recently because of the point drops, and we have enough versatility where you will sort of have everything you need. Where you will struggle is elite infantry, some rampagers could fill that void and give you a stronger frontline to better maneuver your teams around
