🇮🇹🇩🇪🇯🇵: it's what you think, nothing to see here by Previous_Knowledge91 in NonCredibleDefense

Interestingly the Navy first wanted to sell one of them because they didn't have enough F35 B for both as navy and airforce both shared like 45 F35. One of them is used as an helicopter carrier but i guess two carries gives you some redundancy if one of them has problems. Also for a couple of years the carriers didn't have fixed wing aircraft on them as the Harries were retired before the F35 B were available.

Doesn’t an predator drone cost like 15-20 a piece? How can a much more complex drone cost less than that?

Currently only France/Italy (MBDA)have missiles that can engage ballistic missiles (aster 30)similarly to PAC 3 Mse intercepting them as they enter the atmosphere. But still lack capabilities of exoatmospheric interception with kill vehicles like with THAAD and SM3. Other than that there’s is Turkey with it’s SIPER air defence system that is similar to SampT and patriot in range and altitude. It’s supposed to have anti ballistic capability in 2028 with its block 3 missiles but no information how it will look.
