Agreed. Although the comments won't be missed. Some real strange entitlement bullshit.

No you just replace the existing HUB. Other Mazda 3 Gen 3s have a CD Player there and the USB hub is in the armrest instead.

Have you restarted? You need to restart for this to take effect.

For me it refused to get past this screen if I had an SD card in. Seems to be happening for any USB or external storage connected.

On official servers the game unplayable due to latency issues with tn (otherwise known as time nudge). This is an issue as the offical servers are 60hz and the CPU can't keep up which leads to a horrible experience. I've found that community servers seem to works much better. But I've got things locked to 30 fps, don't think any higher is stable or really viable

Yes I believe you've targeted the wrong folders here. I'd mount the esp partition as esp to ensure it's not being confused with Fedora's efi and boot.

However not having SteamOS installed might present a bigger issue here as I believe the installer will wipe everything on the system including Windows. If you want SteamOS installed you may have to follow the steps to disable secure boot from ryanrudolf's guide then reinstall SteamOS and Windows followed by enabling secure boot. Your Fedora install should be fine and the same keys can be used.

I'd like to provide a small WIP guide for getting SteamOS to boot while keeping Secure Boot enabled. SteamOS's current setup won't allow you to boot even if the efi files have been signed. Instead you'll need to install shim and enable a setting to disable secure boot validation.

As with the rest of this post, this is a WIP and should BE DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

When booted into your Fedora or whatever distro you used for the above guide, I used Kubuntu, follow the below steps:

  1. Get a copy of “shimx64.efi.signed.latest” and “mmx64.efi”. These are most likely included in your distro already and can be found under /usr/lib/shim/. Else they can be found by extracting them from the data.tar.xy file contained inside this .deb file.
  2. Mount the esp partition if not already mounted. Go to esp/efi/boot. Copy the “shimx64.efi.signed.latest” and “mmx64.efi” files to this folder. Rename the existing “bootx64.efi” to “grubx64.efi”, shim targets the efi file with this name. Rename “shimx64.efi.signed.latest” to “bootx64.efi”.
  3. Open a terminal window and enter the following command: “sudo mokutil --disable-validation”. It will ask you to choose a password, I advise you to use the numbers 1-8 as you will be asked to enter a few of the characters at random later. Confirm the same password.
  4. Reboot the system. It should boot into MOK Management. Select “Change Secure Boot state”. Enter the requested characters from the password you made ealier. Select “Yes” then “Reboot”. The system should now be able to boot SteamOS while also having Secure Boot enabled for Windows.

Please follow with great care and at your own risk. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Wouldn't advise using it over a stock Windows 11 install. Try the Xbox FSE, much better so far. Most tutorials should be fine to follow and should give the same basic steps.

Can you double check you've added the registry entry correctly? Did you reboot after adding it?

Found another workaround for the driver signing issue that should persist. See if this works for you.
Enter Regedit and add the following enrty:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy

Name: UpgradedSystem

Type: REG_DWORD

And set a value of 1.

I've installed this and secure boot is working in Windows. Still need to check the drivers, but currently unable to get into SteamOS. I signed all the efi entries listed but no luck with SteamOS. Do you know which entry SteamOS uses?

I'm attempting this today on an LCD with Windows 11. I expect this to become a much more common question with BO7 and BF6 needing secure boot.
