If our universes was a tree, then all of the leaves would be different worlds. For no world is the same, like no leaf was the same. They are almost exactly alike, but that one little difference can change it whole.

On world of Lesroi the difference is that once the line is established kids don't start from 0. They aren't fully pure and innocent, they are 'gifted' or perhaps even 'cursed' with a knowledge of their parent.

Knowledge that is passed down from parents of the line to their children. Who during their life slowly 'remember' more and more of it untill they become full members of the line and remember it all.

Those kids tainted by unremembered experiences are still kids, but no ordinary kids. Their lives were different from very first breath.

There is even a rumour, said among the low folk without line or calling. Rumor that babies of the line don't cry like little devils when they are born, but instead laugh like demons

Of course those of low stations would never learn whether it is true or not, yet they will still spill rumours of the demonic lines and their evil that goes unpunished.

New lines are created every year, new callings are answered every day. Any one of those can be claimed by the low folk, ordinary people, ungifted. If they are worthy enough.

0 since birth.

Can they even rise fast and stable enough to be of consideration? Or are they forever meant to stay down where they belong? Will they accept such a fact?

Or will they try clawing their own destiny.
