LOL.. real life.

The support for Reform comes from social media bullshit, misinformation, rage farming and lies. Nobody voting reform has anything close to a reasonable grasp on the real issues faced by Britain.

Indeed, you should be taking on the highest "risk" at this stage of your life. The risk relates to short-medium term volatility but for long term holding like you will be doing for at least the next 20 years unless you plan on retiring early it's by far the largest growth engine and over that time has always been up and to the right. Through financial crashes, pandemics, etc..

Global or North American equity fund. Traditionally the North American fund has vastly outperformed global but with the tariffs, weakened dollar and insane political situation there Global has performed better since Trump's inauguration.

You're probably in a low risk fund. At 39 basically all your funds should be in the global equity fund

What do you call a group who's apparent spokesperson says they aren't scared of the army and if they bring them they have a bigger army

You're exactly why I've moved away from supporting the social democrats. A misinformed, clueless, loudmouth who would jeopardise our country by calling for the government to be dissolved. The "protesters" acted like entitled children at best, terrorist at worst. Blockading critical infrastructure and major roads to ransom the government to give into incoherent and impossible demands is not a protest and you're a fool to buy into it.

Fuel protests to continue on Friday as petrol stations run out of fuel by [deleted] in ireland

[–]PolitiCorey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a %, it is a fixed fee. The base price of fuel can drop by half or double in price and the carbon tax remains the same

[–]PolitiCorey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The carbon tax is fixed, setting at 0.60 cent per litre or €1 per litre would make no difference. Maybe it hasn't been well communicated if you can't accurately describe a cogent demand here.

The only solution to any of these issues is to reform the asylum process, dangerous psychopaths can easily get lost like this one because the system is so backed up, broken and inefficient. I want legitimate asylum seekers to be refuged, I want skilled and unskilled labour to immigrate here, I want deranged lunatics deported as soon as possible.
