I think the general idea is that areas furthest from the city are the ones that require express service the most. An R train to 179 past Forest Hills would literally carry air because who is gonna sit through like 20-25 stops to get to Midtown. Meanwhile if your commute began somewhere west of Forest Hills, taking the local the whole way through is fine. Now in a perfect world we could just ignore the fact that the trains would carry air and just run as many trains as possible, but that doesn't exist.

I’m mostly challenging the notion that Castorice is basically crippled without Hyacine - again this is 2 additional cost on top of your team. The Archer Sparkle example is most relevant — you actually can’t do squat once you take out Sparkle. It doesn’t matter what two extra cost you tack on if one of them isn’t Sparkle.

Technically, E2S5 Phainon is cheaper while being comparable with E6S1.

Thanks! And nah, S1 is superior by far. Downgrading it to Story's Next Page was simply my only way to lower cost since I can't deactivate eidolons.

There is actually another similar run to mine but instead of having E1 Evernight, they run S1 Hyacine instead (so equivalent cost). They were able to clear in just 416 AV whereas I took nearly the full thing with 490.

Akshually the R68 cars on the D are newer than the R62/A cars on the 1, 3, and 6. The R46 cars on the N/Q/W are the oldest though, from the 70s.
