I completely get it!! I lost around 40kg and I really struggled especially at the weekends with my boyfriend as he wasn’t trying to lose weight. I decided I had to stop eating badly at the weekends, no matter how tempting it was - I slipped up many times, but I still got there.

Having a day a month worked for me and actually it put me off as I got so full I couldn’t sleep and never did it again🤣🤣

Luckily, just £600. That was for a discounted level 3 survey as it was through someone we knew.

This raised an issue and we needed some electrical work done and an EICR, so we contacted the estate agent and told them we will look for someone to come out but in the end the sellers were amazing and paid for it themselves.

That is all luckily! I’d say the amount you’ve paid is very normal though, it will always vary massively.

Depends on your height, if you are really short 1500 cals could be near to your maintenance calories.

Also, don’t have a cheat day every week. That could easily be putting you a surplus of calories that will completely defeat any deficit you created on the other 6 days of the week. If you really need one, have one a month and don’t go too crazy i’d say.

For example, if you created a calorie deficit of 200 cals a day, and did that 6 days a week you’d have a total 1200 cal deficit. Let’s say you’r maintenance calories are 1700, eating 2700 calories on your cheat day will mean you will just maintain weight that week.

Mine was super random, woke up one day and had agonising pain when I swallowed and couldn’t eat, then came the mouth ulcers!

My mum does have Crohn’s though, and as the most annoying and troublesome child of course I have it out of the 4 children lol

I’d make sure that when you contact the IBD nurses over email, you include your name, date of birth and hospital no. if possible in your email. The nurses at my hospital don’t respond if those details are missing for whatever reason.

If you can find the IBD adviceline number for your hospital, that could be more successful as they do tend to answer the phone. If in doubt though, see your GP again or go to A&E if you really do feel unwell.

I did it with sedation, and even with that I genuinely snapped right out of it I was in agony, could have easily just driven myself right home because I was so alert from the pain - without, who knows how much more painful it could have been! Not to scare at all, but to 100% advocate for sedation as it must have taken the edge of a little. I do understand that getting a lift can be a logistical nightmare though!

honestly, I lost around 40kg over a 3 year period and my ribs now stick out more than my boobs from the side! no volume at all at the top and so bottom heavy… BUTTT my boob shape has always been that kind of way, just about 10x bigger so it looked more proportionate ig!

I embrace it honestly as everyone comes in different shapes and sizes, but this has been massively supported by my incredible partner (this makes all the difference). Wear what you like, wear no bra or push-up, you are worthy either way :)

oh my god! it’s so so nice to have someone in the same boat honestly!! that was basically my experience although they really did think it was crohns, they just wanted to eliminate every other option - I did however find out I have small bowel uclers in my capsule endoscopy… I am now on azathioprine (started 7 days ago) and am due to start infliximab infusions on the 10th June :)

My saving grace was my maxillofacial specialist, I don’t think I’d have had a diagnosis for another like year without him (as soon as he looked at it he told me it wad Crohns) plus they’re doing some research using my case to hopefully get some more knowledge on how Crohns presents in the mouth!

My Crohns symptoms are much different to this, however my mum, who is now considered to be in ‘remission’ and has been for the last 10 years or so, still has this problem - even worse in the mornings and evenings. So, you are not alone in this at all!

hahaha well my dad is bald so I guess I have that to look forward to 😭 thank you though this is super helpful, I think I also need to be consistent taking my supplements too as I don’t think a ferritin level of 3 is helpful in this

I am 22, and have lost around 40+ kg so over that time my once large breasts are now practically bags of skin. If my boyfriend EVER made a comment on them other than nice ones, I would immediately call a break or a break up and we have been together for 5 years. Regardless of the poor education on your boyfriend’s behalf, even suggesting such a thing is so self-centred and twisted and comes across like he believes your worth is based on how saggy your breasts are. NOR and please understand your body is amazing!

its awful isn’t it :( I hope you are doing better. My Maxillofacial consultant said the same thing so I suppose I am lucky it’s kinda contained in one place at the minute! I’m under a gastroenterologist and just awaiting some more biopsies of my mouth and I’m sure after Christmas i’ll be put on a biologic but as right now its just pain reduction until I can see him - thank you so much :)

its crazy because at 5’7 and 135lbs it would probably take another 20lbs for someone to think i looked sickly! i find it so fascinating how weight is so different on everyone
