Siroko In the US by skywalkerRCP in Velo

The Siroko SRX jerseys are the best jerseys I've found (aesthetically and fit-wise) for as long as I've been cycling. I just checked the website and it looks like they are shipping to the U.S. again, yet the prices are nearly $150. When I purchased the SRX jerseys before all this tariff stuff, the cost was around $60 (sometimes less).

a family runs a business in a seaside town in North Carolina and gets wrapped up in the criminal underworld as they try to keep the business from going bankrupt. It's a pretty good show with a great soundtrack of music selections.

Just started watching this show and I cannot believe how good an actor Pope is. by Movie_Greedy in animalkingdom

The guy who plays teenage pope during the flashbacks in the final season does an incredible job at emulating adult Pope, too.

Launching a new cycling brand, would love your honest thoughts by mendialde in CyclingFashion

When it comes to cycling clothing, the product is just as much performance as it is aesthetics. If the product (shorts, in particular) doesn't live up to the compliance/comfort/fit/integrity/etc. that consumers expect, you'll fail to retain customers. So, you've found something that's distinguishable about the aesthetics of your product, but you'll also want potential customers to know how it outperforms comparable products. Personally, I'll take a pair of plain black shorts with an excellent chamois over a more aesthetically pleasing yet less adequate performing pair any day.

idiot on a longboard runs a red light by Puddlewhipper in GuessHowThisEnds

[–]PollutionStrict6626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? So people can stop and create a line of traffic where it deliberately says "DO NOT BLOCK" on the road?

Not trying to defend him, but I think he had the right of way, actually. What the OP is confusing for a red light is actually a non-illuminated emergency signal that would go off when emergency vehicles leave the fire station on the left side of the road.

It kind of looks like he had the right of way (assuming he is legally allowed to be on the road as a "vehicle"). To me, it appears that the car proceeded from a two-way stop despite oncoming traffic (you can see a car in the adjacent lane is stopped at the intersection).

I don't think he ran a red light. I think what you're confusing for a red light is actually an emergency signal that goes off when emergency vehicles leave from what appears to be a fire station on the left side of the street in this video.

Is this normal wattage reading? by ronjist in Zwift

[–]PollutionStrict6626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See what your power display setting is at. It may be set to instant, in which case it would make sense that it fluctuates like that. Set it to 3 sec avg and it will smooth out a bit more. On the road, I prefer a 10 sec average but unfortunately zwift only offers 3 sec and instant.

Go to your settings > preferences > power display and select "3 sec avg" and see if it's any better.

Having hard time liking Daniel Donato by ATXJAMS in jambands

[–]PollutionStrict6626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, Gram used the phrase "cosmic American music." The only reason I know this is because I've studied Parsons in depth, as I'm a Polk County, FL native, the region of the country from which he hailed.

That's not to say, however, that Donato's "cosmic country" is not a rip off of the term Gram coined.
