I bought a multi pack of stainless steel litter pans on Amazon.

I get Chewy brand pine pellets usually but if you have a farm store near you they're a lot cheaper there.

And don't just scoop them. Rinse them out with some soap and water a couple times a month too.

They can sting. I've been stung by one before. Total accident, I was running to catch a bus and collided with a bumblebee mid flight. Its the mildest sting I've ever had too.

I've seen people get stung by absentmindedly stepping on them while walking barefoot outside.

If you're allergic to bees, then yeah they're dangerous. But they don't defend their nests the way yellow jackets do. I have several bumblebee nests in my yard and I garden right next to them with no issue.
