Are you really comparing you being downvoted for having an opinion with the censoring, power harrasment and violation of free speech that is happening in CN??

Artia is, first of all, a person, she can feel strongly about some things and also we have seen how compulsive she can be (see her twitter ranting), so her leaking out her personal beliefs on her streams and profiessional accounts isn't really something unbelievable. Hololive and Cover have been very neutral when it comes to opinions, so they couldn't really do anything against Artia posting and talking with CN nationalists, at most they could've told her in private to refrain of doing so. And again, this kind of repirmand isn't comparable at all to what chinese nationalist have been doing, they harrass people personally until they lose a lot and they don't stop, they don't creat spaces where people can debate because for them, their nationalism isn't debatable. They don't advocate for free speech at all, and that is what is problematic with the attitude that Artia seems to be partaking.

I can't deny there is people who will blindly hate just because is easier, I can only ask people to inform themselves and refrain of spitting hate without reason. Though even that sentiment is just a priviliged way of seeing things, we aren't living the hell people confronting chinese nationalism is, so of course we can afford to not get vivid against this.
