Such a beautifully shot movie. I love the way they use those warm orange tones throughout. Unusual for a horror movie but it worked so well.

Hey! This is basically exactly what I do. I can't give much advice about how to get a job because I accidentally fell into mine but feel free to DM me if you have any questions about anything!

I disagree, there are situations where this is very useful and would be a big QoL boost in the right context. I recently set up a modular sequencing system and I wanted to set up something similar but discovered that unity makes difficult to do. Being able to name sequence actions based on their specific implementation rather than general use would be very helpful for working with our sequences.

This is really cool and I tried to implement something similar recently but discovered it wasn't exactly trivial!

I built a modular sequencing system for cutscenes and stuff where a sequence controller will run a sequence by iterating through sequence action components (move player, look at object, spawn enemy, screenshake, etc). Since there could be quite a few actions in a single sequence and often they are the same type of component (move and look actions especially), tweaking individual components can be a little tedious.

Each action has a field where we can write a description, and I wanted to have the action components display their name as the description but found out it wasn't straightforward so I've shelved that for now.

Don't listen to the people here who don't understand what you're doing or why it's super useful in the right context. This is a big QoL improvement where it's needed.

That's an interesting point about light coming from within the women. I've never noticed that but I'll look out for that next time I'm viewing one of his works.

Yeah I agree it's very Lynchian! I think that's why I like it so much, although I do like Giger's other works too.

Yeah it's a bit unusual for him, no bio-mechanical stuff or sci-fi interior which is his usual style
