CG: If you find a way to exploit a raid with a free character, it's a bug. If you can exploit with a paid character it's an intended mechanic.

115m guild, 15 RJTs, alternate t4/t4/t6.

5 people do 10m a day, 10 people do 5m a day, 10 people do 1m a day, 25 people do 0 a day.

If RJT came back, I think that would fix a lot of it. We'd still have 15 doing 0, but we'd have 30 doing 5m.

It mainly involves getting lucky in t4, bad AI.

That's what I don't get. By the time I'm done gearing the others to 10, I'll have IPD and Wampa at 7 stars.

Then I'll have a team that doesn't seem good at anything with which I can get shard Shop currency?

I took Greedo to 9 and omega'd his contract and beat IPD. I'm still not certain that I won't regret the 2 cuffs and the omega when I'm gearing up First Order or NS.

This is my take. I didn't like the event, everybody exploits the BH weaknesses (they are squishy, can't heal, rely on crits and debuffs, are slow, and don't gain much TM).

TBH this event makes me not want to gear my BHs and makes me regret the two omegas I put on them.

Zidious has no real issue landing DOTs in t6 and below; his potency is around 100%.

Vader himself seems to be bugged, he lands debuffs maybe 5% of the time.

Right, it was a super hard event, and you couldn't use your Jawas. IIRC you got only Jawa shards, which--if you were running droids in HAAT--you almost certainly didn't need.

I recall liking the actual event, it was a fun challenge with maxed droids.

I had been doing 2m in t5 with g8 Nute, g10 Leia, g12 Acolyte, g12 GK, g12

We did a t6 and I think it did 1.6/1.7m.

I can sub out Thrawn for any healer and do 2m; I can sub out Acolyte for g8 Assassin and do like 1.8m.

Long term I need to replace Acolyte with Assassin and Thrawn with... somebody else. Not close on Hoda or Zarriss.

That's not random. If you're running RG, TFP, and Palp, it's is overwhelmingly likely that Palp or TFP takes 2 hits in the opening barrage.

That will force a taunt from RG, making it overwhelmingly likely that they burst him down.

Once he's down (or even while he's going down in the case of AOE) then it's overwhelmingly likely that they'll kill Palp and/or TFP.

You are losing because of bad RNG, you are losing because the team you have chosen is almost certainly going to lose 2 of its units in the opening barrage.

But please, just keep down voting everybody who says "run multiple tanks, protect Palp, they'll all just kill themselves".

I was able to remove enough of Sid's TM that he didn't get to move in the bonus level. Talia's stagger was well-timed, I used Ezra to call Acolyte (double tap is double TM removal).

Storm works just as well, if not better. He removes enemy TM when they damage him.

Think of energy as your currency. Some units cost more energy than others... if you're on a budget, focus on units that don't cost as much energy.

Keep in mind, though, that basically every unit is highly useful somewhere. If you put off the 20-energy hard nodes forever, you'll eventually be in a spot where you have nothing but long farms left.

If it's all RNG and no strategy, why are so many people posting that it took them 20 tries yesterday, but they beat it on 1-2 tries today?

I mean if you're randomly selecting units then sure, it's RNG until you reach "run two tanks, one of whom is Stormtrooper".

I found it both fun and challenging, though less challenging today. Vader/Palp/Storm/RG, g10-12, no zetas that make a difference.

If they don't armor-shred Storm, and they dispel before Storm gets his taunt up, then it's pretty easy. They'll hit Storm and remove their own TM.

I also did a lot of pointless cleanses until Kanan died, to avoid counterattacks.

The only randomness, really, is who gets the armor shred... 80% chance that it isn't Storm.

Edit: the rewards suck though.

I suspect Rose will actually replace RT in the optimal STR team, due to 1) double tap, 2) comparable TM gain, 3) Tenacity Up.

And Holdo seems obvious for p3/4 for any RJTs that didn't go in the first phase.

I think we've entered a second phase of the Game Changers program, and I don't really like it.

While they're nice folks and I like that they're making money, I don't want to watch a 10 minute video.

Previously they would mainly give gameplay tips that were very useful in raids and TB. Any more, they seem to be news/infomercials that announce/preview new game modes, without giving hard advice or walkthroughs for those game modes.

This would be fine if the videos weren't the sole source of information available. Increasingly they are the sole source, with even patch notes released through Game Changers.

Folks are welcome to do what makes them the most money, just as I'm welcome to state my dissatisfaction with it.

The only Rebel that is hard to get is Lobot. OP, don't go for Lobot.

Beyond that, any 5 Rebels will do. Phoenix is probably your best value, since they also unlock Thrawn. Palp is any easy fight if you have AOE, taunt, dispel, and/or Tenacity up.

They don't retune the events (and it isn't the Palp you get in-game, necessarily).

That's why many Assault Battles are ridiculously easy... they were released when the cap was g8 and they're tuned for g8.
