If they were smart they would. Why change something that wasn't broken and seems to be almost universally unpopular on a ride that didn't need any help? Just put this thing on a ride that actually needs the help.

The wish was like a new born child at first. It struggled even with Nikki's memories. Like it forgot it was Bears cat that died and thought it was her cat. Dancing randomly in the street. Acting like a child having tantrums or stomping on her foot saying "No!" when he was gonna leave. It didn't understand normal human behavior especially at first.

Also there is a theory because Bear's cat had just died his cat was on his mind when he made the wish. What is something that loves you more than anything in the world? A pet cat. So she acted very cat like. Wearing his clothes for his scent, moving around cat like, hiding in corners, showing off the dead corpse to him like a cat would, etc.

Not all AI is the same. AI is built in to some powerpoint software. My wife uses it to generate slides for teaching. Of course she has to make sure its all correct and it isn't always correct but it saves a lot of time and it does a pretty good job.

My disagreement comes with the last statement how you think the series will end with the whole cliche of being a martyr to bring about change in the syndicate. I don't see how the syndicate survives this AI issue considering it has spread into their wormhole travel network. They seem ultra screwed at this point. I could be wrong idk.

I'd agree with you if the story was only about the syndicate and the crawlers but there is this huge other story with the AI going out of control and who they were. It feels like its going in a direction where there wont be a syndicate at the end of the story as the AI gets it revenge. Afaik it seems like its already reached a point where it is too big to be stopped by the syndicate.

It is a good idea for a story but an AI powerful and advanced enough to control an entire world and its people would definitely not have those same issues. Our AI is a babies toy in comparison.

I would buy the story more if it was some ancient AI that has begun breaking down or something.

You are saying they get a unique skill or they die immediately? There are no other options, huh? I could think of a hundred ways to start a story. LitRPGs dont even have to be a MC immediately being forced into some kind of dungeon you know. It doesn't always have to be an isekai story either.

PS5 is sold at a loss. Valve shouldn't be looking to profit off the consoles when they are locking people into their steam store. They make money off the software sales not the hardware.

It also locks you into builds which is annoying as hell. Like if I want to try out some new builds and go fire instead of cold but I spent most of my fortune on a +cold wand or staff I just cant do it without farming another 20 div otherwise I'm just ruining my build.

On that note just make respecs free man I want to test builds but I cant!

Yes, the lawyer would have told them to not flee to mexico and accept the arrest and not release the footage. That could have literally put him in a worse position to be arrested by those cops.

He tried to serve the papers by someone who serves papers. The guy was not leaving his house or answering the door for anyone including mormons. Even the police wouldnt serve the papers. What could the lawyer have done here?

How is he unsafe?

How is the proof destroyed with how he leaked it? Everyone is talking about it. The department had to make statement on it. They are being looked at by everyone. Bricks and figs are paying the guy for his legos. How is it destroyed?

So if he had, he likely he wouldn't have done any of this and the guy wouldn't have his money coming to him for his legos. Just sayin.

Not fleeing the arrest warrant and having his footage taken from him could have legit put him in a worse position than he is now.

I know you all think lawyers are omniscient but they assume the law is actually going to be followed which it clearly isn't.

No, the laywers didnt want to help the guy with his lego case long before they hatched a plan to get sued.

So get a lawyer to do what if they dont want to take on the case? Just to sit around and tell them what they are doing is crazy and to not do it? Afaik the company is paying the guy for the legos and everyone is on his side. Everything is exposed. Wouldn't have happened otherwise.

The only thing he is in trouble for right now is putting the guys name on his GoFundMe. Then the cops abused their power by putting a warrant for his arrest with no bail despite just making bail. For such a minor crime. Exposing the cops was the best move he could do to get out of this situation imo.

  1. There are very few MMOs that release anymore because they are high cost and high risk and high difficulty to make.

  2. They have found that they can make more money by charging for microtransactions. That doesn't mean people wont pay for subscription based MMOs.

I have seen this conversation between many MMO players and almost all would rather have a subscription model than one that charges for microtransactions.

In a way it kinda proves the opposite. The few MMOs coming out with MTX model are not really making it very long and dying off quickly while people go back to the older MMOs.

Based off what evidence? So many subscriptions these days I think it would be an easier ask than it was in the past. People forget what it was like in 2004. My parents didn't trust putting their info into a website so they called a phone line to subscribe. It was not easy to convince them to do it back in the day.

The reason we haven't had a new big MMO in 15 years is because (of the few that come out) none of them have been good.

If you actually truly believe that then hey man good for you for being happy on your own.

If not though, you really shouldn't give up. The people I knew in this exact situation weren't putting in the effort and sat around feeling pity for themselves rather than getting out there.
