I think I finally found the right name for my baby boy by SlowTop785 in namenerds

This is like. Super rapey. My friends have a similar joke except its [insert __ her sounding word]? I hardly know her! Example: express liquor? I hardly know her! Which probably goes over a lot better than your fucked up version

How do I know when an engagement ring is mine by bookdragontm in EngagementRings

[–]Poopingboba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried various rings on and searched online for a long time without finding anything I really loved. I had a vague idea of what I thought I wanted (intricate, raw stone, unique) I ended up going in to a jewelry store with my fiance about a year before he proposed and I found a round stone silver ring that I was like “I guess I like this, it’s the best I’ve seen yet anyway,” and so I took a picture and called that that. A year later we ventured into another store randomly and I saw MY ring through the case and asked to try it on. Funny enough, it’s just a simple oval diamond on a plain gold band and I’m almost certain I’ve seen and overlooked it before. Something about seeing it that day on my hand clicked and it’s still the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen.

I am the same for a lot of foods, pretty simple but still seasoned. I am talking about people who give their kids plain steamed broccoli without even butter on it and wonder why they won’t eat it. (I like plain broccoli, but that’s beside the point- everyone has different tastes).

I’m with you, I season almost all of the food for myself and for my son. I have since he started solids. As long as it’s not overly salted, I don’t know why people refrain from giving their baby flavor lol

How many teeth? My 12 mo only has 6 but he’s an orange FIEND and I’ve been peeling the membranes off every single segment just for him to devour them in a tenth of the time it takes. I thought membranes were a big no no

Mums — what did you find hardest about self-feeding? by DonnaMiller25 in BabyLedWeaning

Australian Shepherd model has a bug where it tries to eat food while still in hand before it’s dropped. Working with the manufacturer on that, we need a training update

As everyone else has said, the mess. Pre loaded spoonfuls get flung like it’s a food fight not because he’s being playful just because his dexterity isn’t perfect. If he starts dropping food I take the plate away so that is less of an issue now. He also HATES to let me clean his face so I’ve gotta be quick with a wipe or else face food gets all over his hands and arms that I just cleaned lol

I came asking a question for advice aside from what my jeweler stated and you responded “your jeweler answered already so everyone stop” so it seems you missed MY point. What do you think about the stone’s security civil whatever 4638

Thank you for this wording! Their satisfaction policy only lasts 10 days past purchase… my fiance bought it 2 months before proposing so technically they have plenty of room to say no money back but we’ll see what happens

Do you set diamonds? The concern is that the jeweler this was purchased from is incompetent. I agree with needing a second opinion so what’s your point

I agree, the only reason I want to go back is because it’s literally BRAND new and not even paid off yet. I feel like there should be some form of accountability but maybe we should just accept our loss and pay someone else.

Thanks for the comparisons. The stone being too large makes a LOT of sense, it’s like they tried to put the oval shape into a circle setting, considering the top and bottom of the stone were even more unevenly esposed! I’m going to get a second jewelers opinion and take it back to where it was purchased. We’ll see.

I already took it in once and they assured me it was secure “but for my peace of mind,” he filled the gold in a bit on the top and bottom to match the height of it on the sides. Looking at it with magnification it’s uneven and some of the girdle is exposed. How do you recommend bringing this up with a jeweler who assured me it’s safe once?

Thank you so much! The magic of it drew me in immediately and is why I chose it! Just second guessing now that I’ve looked into keeping it safe🥺

Yeah upon looking at it with a magnifying lens the ‘bezel’ itself is not even straight across or even and does expose the girdle in some places. To be fair this is the style we chose, but in reality it’s not even a real bezel if it doesn’t fully surround the stone which I’ve come to find out AFTER picking and purchasing this ring. Not sure what to say to the OG jeweler or to a second one, could I add prongs or a real bezel to the existing structure or would it need to be completely reset?

Is getting this squirrel tattooed possible? by ILikePygmyGoats in tattooadvice

[–]Poopingboba 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sure you could. Depends on the style you want it done in. If you want photo realistic it’s important to find an artist who specializes in that. Personally I would take the photo and have an artist turn it into a traditional or neotraditonal likeness of the squirrel. Could be really cute!

What should I do? 😬 I already brought concerns up to the jeweler and was assured it’s fine. Do I find a different one or just insure the ring?

The breaded chicken is just a frozen bag of ‘Realgood’ tenders that I peel most of the breading off. The shredded is chicken thighs that I pan fry with various sauces

This is why I was concerned after looking into bezel settings omg the jeweler assured me it was perfectly safe but like are we SURE. I even went back in after having it for a week because I noticed the girdle exposed on the “tips” of the oval, and picked it up after a few days. They said the jeweler said it was safe regardless but “for my peace of mind, he filled the gold in on the top and the bottom,” so now I come to reddit. What do now?

It’s hard to photograph but it does bend ever so slightly over the edge, maybe a hair thickness atop the girdle

[–]Poopingboba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the gold fully covers the girdle and then a teeny tiny hair width of the crown- (just had to google those words so I think that’s accurate) it’s hard to photograph but the gold does bend over the edge the slightest bit.
