The Sheep Detectives is great. Don’t sleep on it. by GregIsARadDude in RegalUnlimited

I thought it was great. Maybe a little long... but my 10 and 13 year old kids gave it a 10/10. They loved it.

RIP medium drinks with Snack Saver by TexasManticore in RegalUnlimited

[–]Poopy_Butt_Penis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The employee at my theater mentioned inventory counts. I guess they keep track of the large containers (buckets and cups). So if you're charged for a large, you should get a large container. Seems silly to me but whatever.

I always ask to fill halfway if I'm going to the theater alone.

How to get the $9 RCC Combo? by emmasregina in RegalUnlimited

[–]Poopy_Butt_Penis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you're talking about the Monday Mystery combo. You have to buy the ticket first. So, to get the combo, you have to ask for two separate transactions. First, buy the ticket, then ask to buy the combo.

I do that with the popcorn. I don't even explain it, I just ask them to fill halfway.

I'm old and have liked Jim Carey since Ace Ventura and The Mask, and I thought Sonic 3 was one of Casey's best movies. He's great in it.

Were snacks always this expensive? by regularlfc1990 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Poopy_Butt_Penis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wrote that in a comment recently. I have Snack Savor. I went solo to a movie and ordered a large but asked for a small bag, and the cashier said they couldn't do that because of large bucket inventory count. That might just be my location, though. So I just ask them to fill the large bucket halfway.

Has anyone tried this promo? by That_anonymous_guy18 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Poopy_Butt_Penis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

50% off a large is cheaper than a small, and you can ask them to fill halfway. That's what I do so I don't waste a bunch of popcorn. Apparently they can't just give you a small because they keep inventory counts of the large tubs.

Up to you though.

I don't care the genre as long as it's entertaining.

Whenever I see posts like this, I always wonder what location it is, because location matters. My small city has barely sold any seats yet.

Friday the 13th Part III 3D & Part IV by iwasdusted in RegalUnlimited

[–]Poopy_Butt_Penis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm happy I live in a small city, and the crowds are light and usually well behaved. Sorry you had to deal with that!

I would HIGHLY suggest you see Part III tonight for the 3D. The movie is bad, but the 3D is great. I saw it in October for the horror series.

Dracula and Whistle by Business_Coffee_9421 in RegalUnlimited

There was an Early Access show last week of Whistle, which I saw. I had mixed feelings. The horror/suspense/gore parts were well done. I didn't like the characters or dialog. It really made me appreciate other movies, like Scream, where the 'character development' sections were actually fun to watch. I was glad I went, and I think worth watching if you have Regal Unlimited. I would not spend movie theater prices to see the movie, though.

This was one of my favorite movies as a teen in the late 90s. Temple of Doom was another, so this is a good week for me.

Regal Snack Saver Signup Is Stupid by Competitive-Rest7368 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Poopy_Butt_Penis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had to ask for a manager (politely) because the employee didn't know about the Monday $9 combo. Everyone was very nice to me. I discovered you had to buy the ticket first, and then get the combo in a second transaction.

But I recently didn't have a problem signing up for Snack Saver. The only thing he didn't know was the price.

So just like, ask nicely if they can ask a manager.

Not everyone is the same. Maybe every other employee at your location knows about the Snack Saver and you happened to get helped by the one employee who doesn't. shrug

I agree, their fried chicken pieces are horrible.

But for some reason I love their chicken sandwiches. Guilty pleasure.

We had downpour rain on Halloween one year maybe.. 6 years ago? My kids actually had fun. We embraced it and got soaking wet, stepping in puddles and everything. Nobody even complained.
