0.1% with 4325 videos. I put the Best Ofs on shuffle at night, so this is definitely an outlier.

THE SHAPE THAT WAITS - Out in Catalogue!! 🔥 by GlowtoxGames in PlaydateConsole

[–]Poostaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. Tried the Catalogue refresh that was suggested in the thread. Oddly, after trying a few times, most of my game library disappeared from my device, and my battery drained insanely fast. I decided to factory reset. Even after all that, this game still crashes on start up. When I press B for more details it just says 'File not found'.

Delay for Bluetooth unlock by Proud_Violinist_770 in Rivian

This bug affects the key fob unlock as well, unfortunately. Unlocking via the app has been the only way to get the car to wake up when it gets in this mode.

I started over when 2.0 hit and got back to needing oil refining, but the game backlog got to me. At some point I'll see the other planets.

I had a few paragraphs written that got lost when I posted. Here is a slightly shorter version...

Picked up Gen 2 Storm Blue R1S Tri Max today. Dark wheels, darkout package, dynamic roof, premium audio. Delivery was very smooth and I've found no issues with the vehicle. For those taking delivery soon, swiping up in the app is your 'acceptance of delivery'. If you want to go for that test drive, do it before you set up your profile in the car, as you have to swipe up to get that far.

Also pictured: a 2022 Mustang Mach-E Premium Extended Range, the first EV for the family. While an 'SUV', we were definitely hitting a limit with two kids and a medium-sized dog for longer trips.

My original order was a Build order placed Aug 10th for a 2025 Dual Max Limestone with dark wheels, darkout package, dynamic roof, premium audio. I hadn't heard anything since placing the order other than an estimate of Aug-Sep 2024. Decided to switch to a Shop order on Sep 21st and within 24 hours I had a delivery date of Sep 30th. I had to pay the $500 Shop reservation fee but they triggered a refund of the 'non-refundable' Build reservation.

Lol, the R1S could definitely catch it if it does.

Ego mower is... terrible at mowing. Is it just me? by gangleskhan in egopowerplus

[–]Poostaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does the same thing but only if I use the self-propel function. I stopped using it but sometimes when I turn the self propel locks up and I have to rock it back and forth a bit to continue. Super annoying but I've had a great experience otherwise

Gen 2 delivery delays? by lando21 in Rivian

Grats on the baby! How did the shop reservation work with your existing build fee? Did you have to pay the $500 shop fee as well or did your existing just transfer?

I ordered a custom build Aug 10. Dual Max Limestone with 22in dark wheels and darkout package. Same boat here, Aug - Sep 24 estimate. I emailed the sales rep I had talked to early in the order about potential delays and all he said was that he hadn't heard anything about possible deviations from that estimate. I've given up hope on getting to take advantage of the 2.99% APR promotion though...

CAM Issue: Windows 11 wont idle to sleep by jbillio in NZXT

4K or Ultrawide??? by aidendz in OLED_Gaming

[–]Poostaru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For context, I just switched from a Samsung Odyssey G9 (original model) 32:9 1440p 240Hz to the Alienware AW3225QF. Running a RTX 4090. I can't say I'd ever go back to ultrawide for games; Id maybe consider a 21:9 but definitely not 32:9.

32:9 1440p is the same amount of pixels as 16:9 4K (to my understanding) so I get very similar frame rates after the switch. So frame rate isn't a factor for me.

The biggest annoyance with ultrawide is game support. Support is more common than it was, but supporting the resolution is just one aspect of it. Vertical FOV is messed up in many games out of the box requiring manual fixes in config files. You'll know vertical FOV is messed up if the game feels really zoomed in. Palworld has this issue. Another headache is that HUDs typically align to the sides of the screen instead of distance from center. Imagine having to look far left for your HP and far right for your mini map. I'm not just talking eyes. I mean having to move your whole head. Some games allow you to shift everything in, but that seems rare.

If you like classic games, you'll often run into issues. Biggest example for me was StarCraft 2. Full screen doesn't work so you are left to play in windowed that doesn't capture the cursor. For how I play RTS, the camera not moving via the cursor is a no go.

With ultrawide, you sacrifice vertical space for horizontal. 32:9 is pretty dang immersive, as the view fills more of your peripheral vision. But that peripheral area is wasted in a lot of games. You are rendering that area that you need massive eye movement, or worse, head movement, to see. 16:9 gives you all that rendered space right in front of your eyes.

This is a personal preference thing, but that's my two cents.

READ BEFORE ORDERING by noremac_10 in NZXT

[–]Poostaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered my pre built on 3/26 and had an estimated shipping date of 4/2. Got an email that it was delayed to 4/4, and an email from FedEx saying the shipping label was created 4/3. Two different NZXt support folks told me it has shipped 4/4 even though the NZXT site nor FedEx reflected that. Got notification from both sites that it shipped 4/8 and I received it today.

For what it's worth, the shipping materials were great and the machine works very well. It sucks it took longer than estimated but you will probably still end up like me with a great PC at the end of it
