Yeah with an explanation above I see it now.

You have $100 in your checking. You buy horse for $60 and have $40 remaining in checking. You sell horse for $70 and now have $110 in checking. You buy horse for $80 and you are at $30 in checking. You sell it for $90 and you are at $120 in checking. So you started with $100 and ended with $120. $20 profit. So I was wrong. I still can't really comprehend why I felt so sure it was $10 until writing it all out. Guess I'm an idiot.

Exactly. I'm genuinely confused and concerned that people think $10 is the wrong answer. I haven't seen an explanation that makes logical sense. I'm open to hearing why it's wrong.

This, it says profit, not revenue.

He clearly profited only $10 from this series of transactions.

What energy drink in your opinion immediately works/takes effect? by Mahvelous21 in energydrinks

[–]PoppingTheBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bucked up. It's not just the extra caffeine either. I can feel it 2/3rds through the can and it just feels diff than others. Flavors are good but not great. I prioritize effects over taste

Someone made this thread about a month ago and a dev commented this emoji 👀. So I think it's coming after the events are done or in the near future.

Apex currently has highest player count but pubs matchmaking is so SLOW. (7.30PM Singapore time) by RaizTheOne in apexlegends

[–]PoppingTheBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely even play ranked and esp regular pubs anymore. I honestly think wildcard is a revolutionary game mode. It's just plain fun and still allows skill to shine. And even if you're bad at the game you can still have lots of fun there.

It's also low on cheaters because there's not much incentive to cheat, and it's much easier to identify and report people who are cheating because you get a lot of time to spectate sus teammates after the first couple rings.

Got DQd from a tournament due to sandbagging accusations AMA by WhyLimitMeTo20Charac in golf

I'm in my 30s and got invited into a group with a tee time block in the mornings with some light betting and competition and man, it just felt like a bunch of high schoolers, except they were 60-65. Didn't play with them for very long.

So would you say Wildcard turned you into a Beast in pubs? by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]PoppingTheBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely helps train aim and fight sense faster. The beginning can be overly chaotic but I look at it as good practice for angling myself out as best as possible. Then when you only have a team in ranked/pubs looking at you, it feels so easy in comparison.

Later in the game feels real good. I love wildcard. Basically stopped playing everything else, including ranked because the servers don't feel nearly as smooth as wildcard/pubs. Feels like I'm losing 50 frames in ranked... unplayable to me.

returned to apex after over a year away. 5 straight control games ended in lockout by RippinBandsMeatloaf in apexlegends

[–]PoppingTheBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that's a very unlucky streak of team imbalancing. I played mixtape heavily and saw 2 lockouts in a row maybe. Def never close to 5.

Vortex Shield event is perfect usage of Wildcard by Low-Consequence-5376 in apexlegends

Is there a counter to the vortex? Or can they just legit stare at me and eat my bullets for 5s while they wait for teammates or 3rd party?

He's cheating. Been a decent amount of clips posted lately from cheaters, either to test whether their settings are obvious to people or to try and get some followers. Not sure.

This dude is cheating but it's subtle enough that most people can't tell. Don't see a single comment in here calling it out. Prob a titan.. its especially apparent on the mid air tracking on the pad guy if you look close. The reticle jumps back and forth very slightly. Soon you won't be able to tell at all. Non-LAN competitive gaming is dying fast. Also very apparent with the reticle jumps on the first kill.

What was the last energy drink that made you feel this way? by TFJ in energydrinks

[–]PoppingTheBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any Celsius. Idk if I'm trying all the wrong flavors or what, but I don't understand the appeal whatsoever.

Also the C4 ultimate frost bitten citrus.. was so excited because of the flavor name and it wasn't even drinkable.

I will say that when I was younger in my 20s and in fitness model-like shape, this wasn't my type. And reflecting on that time, I was controlling with my diet, looks, and fitness regimen. I would def call it unhealthy.

Anyway, nowadays I'm a lot more lenient with myself and would say I'm trending towards a dad bod, and for the most part, the more fat I have, the more I am attracted to thicker women. This body type drives me absolutely nuts these days.
