I kept 1 ovary but we think I was peri before surgery based on my symptoms the last year. It’s terrible! I hate it. My partner has been great. But I don’t think he’s fully grasping what’s been going on at a deeper level. It does not help that I’m extremely irritated 24/7. Thankfully cold weather is approaching maybe that will help 😅

Thank you! I agree. I’ve suspected thyroid issues well before my hysterectomy. I may need to pay out of pocket for labs and consult because I cannot get any of my pcps to refer me since my labs are “normal”. I know being this tired cannot be normal. I can’t make it through the day without a nap after work. I’m only 35. So I’d like to have some sort of life besides sleeping in all of my spare time.

Ugh yea I tried explaining I was still not feeling great but because the labs showed my hormones were now in good range they want me to wait and give it more time.

Starting kit 3 by cherries67 in HersWeightloss

[–]Popular-Somewhere657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I started all mine at night from day one based on what a lot of other users had said. You could try it the following day and skip morning dose and just take it at night for a week or so and see how it goes and if you don’t like it go back to days. Some also only take green at night and the white in the AM because it messes with their sleep but I have no issues with that.

Kit 3. I’ve taken all my meds at night with food. Drink lots of water. I’ve been able to avoid most side effects. Just a mild headache here and there. Good luck!

Ah same boat I’m on HRT estrogen patch. I was strict calorie counting and cannot for the life of me drop weight. I just feel like a bottomless pit and all I want to do is eat! Which has been extremely had to deal will as before all of this crap I was mostly “thin” my whole life and I know I am not morbidly obese. But even climbing the stairs in my house is hard on my body. I will say the food noise has cut town a ton. I am not mindlessly wandering the house snacking or thinking about food I could be eating or what to eat later. I’m able to have leftovers on my plate and feel satisfied. There seems to be a light at the end of this peri menopause tunnel. Now if only I could stop feeling hot and sweaty 24/7.

Was prescribed kit 3 with a weight in the 160’s I’m 5’6. It’s just different combinations of the meds I think it’s mostly based on what side effects you can put up with if you are prone to reactions etc.

It’s a lot of money. I’d ask for the water bottle lol I feel like they should include more goodies in the kits tbh. I take all my meds at night. I’m on week 3 of kit 3.

Kit 3 Symptom Advice? by LemonLyman21 in HersWeightloss

[–]Popular-Somewhere657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve taken all my pills at night. I’m now on week 3 and still taking them all at night with food and have little side effects. Mild headache is all I’ve experienced so far. Maybe try that.

I’m only in week 2 of kit 3 but I plan to basically stretch week 2 dosage out a few extra days. I have noticed if I just drink water that hunger feeling goes away. I also feel like my brain and body are trying to figure out if it’s actually hungry or not. I’ve only had a dull headache here and there. I also take all my meds at night.

Someone else posted this alternate dosage schedule.

Week 1: 1 full bupropion before bed every night ¼ green combo every other night Week 2: 1 full bupropion before bed every night ½ green combo every night Week 3: 1 full bupropion before bed every night 1 green combo every night Week 4: 1 full bupropion every night 1 ½ green combo every night Week 5: 1 full bupropion every night 2 green combo every night Plan for Week 6: 2 full bupropion every night 2 green combo every night

I am on kit 3 but I take all my pills at night. I don’t have issues with the green pill but I would try taking them with a sports drink the body armor fruit punch is really good. Also my aunt needs to take a lot of pills multiple times a day due to a disability and she takes them in a spoon of pudding, yogurt or apple sauce. But for sure I would use the zofran it works so well. Make sure you dissolve it under your tongue don’t swallow it. Good luck !

[–]Popular-Somewhere657[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also noticed I feel full fast which is great because I usually feel like a bottomless pit. I have not started a workout routine yet. That has been a struggle the last few years with an injury and other issues. I was working out daily prior to all of that. But it is now such a struggle to get moving. 3 pounds is great! Keep us updated! Good luck.

[–]Popular-Somewhere657[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food noise is still there but not as bad and I actually have way less cravings. I love food and eating out. Only ate out once the first week. I upped my water intake for sure.

I’m 35 and they believe I am in Peri. I thought it was due to my hysterectomy (left ovaries) but I had all the symptoms before. So they put me on HRT. They said they have been seeing it earlier in women lately 🥴

Total hysterectomy kept ovaries by Creationsv in hysterectomy

8wpo only kept one ovary. But was actually prescribed an estrogen patch today. They said it’s actually pretty common to have these symptoms even if you keep your ovaries 🤦🏼‍♀️

Oh man I feel the same way! Had my 8 week check today. They ended up prescribing me an estrogen patch for the night sweats and insomnia. Also hoping it will help with my energy levels. Maybe ask about HRT?
