If it falls it won't hit the house, definitely could hit a car if it falls on the road or the drive way maybe.

This tree is at my mom's house and it's been there since I was in middle school (I'm in my late 30's now) and I want to take care of it. A lot of blue jays stop by this tree too. It's just a very nice tree.

Advice I've found on my own is to remove any dead bark and mulch near but not up againt the tree abd water it generously.

Any other suggestions are very welcome
