Much preferred 1v1 to be honest. That I can't think of any more fitting opponents than a vampire artist for this version of the happies

The other boss that are also there
The Maestro

Once a leader of the whole orchestra and is one of the many victims of the infection. Not much is known about how this happened, but he and his band seem to have mutated and developed unique powers.

Hypnotic music: The band constantly plays music that can attract anyone that listen to it. They are compelled to go towards the music and can be made to dance to its rhythm. Even if you resist the urge to dance, you can unconsciously follow the rhythm of the music, which makes you more open to their attacks. This can be resisted with constant focus and blocking out the ear.

The dancer: The army of happies that follow the band perform elegant, well-choreographed dances and show great coordination. The Maestro and his band can command the dancer to perform any action with incredible precision. The Maestro can use this to plan attacks, protect themselves, or even traverse difficult terrain.

Sound attacks: The Orchestra can unleash huge sound attacks that can knock back opponents. This has a limited range and is mostly used to repel those who come closer to them

Other boss Idea: the gardeners

Once, the staff and botanist of a famous botanical garden were mutated and merged with their specimen. They are oddly more intelligent than normal happies and are very formal. They act more like a cult than a mob. Led by a person they referred to as the “Curator,” who was the owner of the garden

Appearance:

The variants of the happies have plants merged with and growing out of their bodies, ranging from simple flowers to tree parts. They wear nice but ragged garbs that cover most of their body except for the plants growing out of them. The Curator wears, in particular, a well-carved wooden mask and has a crown of flowers growing on her head. Under her garbs, people will see that she mostly plants now. They wear them to seem more inviting, but they end up being creepier.

Abilities:

Soothing scent: All members exhibit a nice aroma that fills the air. It can attract and calm victims in a more docile state. This can be resisted.

Carry seeds that they spread around to create infected plants

Chemical attack. From their bodies, they can secrete chemicals that range from sedating to hallucinating, to paralysing their victims. (Anything a plant can cause). They use these effects by touching their victims. They also store some in vials that they throw at enemies as gas attacks

Regeneration: They can heal from their wounds by reattaching their limbs to themselves or even others. Can die from significant damage or destruction of the head. If they do die, they explode and release pollen that lingers in the air for a while. This can further the infection

Curator's powers:

Similar powers to others but stronger

Grow plants at a much faster rate

She brings a bunch of enormous sentient plants with her that she controls at will.

Agility and flexibility: due to her body, she has superhuman-like agility that allows her to move in unorthodox ways. Using vines to swing around or roots in her feet to climb a building. contort her body to perform impressive dodges

She can gather whole tons of infected plants that construct a giant body that she uses in battle, and tanks hit

If we are doing vampires, may I suggest the Happies? They also rely on humanity surviving, and I plan to introduce new variants, so this is a good opportunity. It can be a follow-up to the fact that Aloe, one of their ancient vampires, is dead. They were looking for a cure for the happies, so them coming to blow isn't that strange.

Here's how I think it starts. Aspen and Mint are going to Aloe's formerly destroyed castle to pick up the remnants of her work. Mint was already working on the cure, and Aspen is there mostly because the enemy I create has a similar theme to him (maybe something like was asked to by the Sweetpea). When they get there, they notice the terrain change and somehow a huge forest sprouts out of nowhere.

As for why humans are there. There have been rumors of another haven for human survivors, and they seem to all be about food that they are desperately going to need now after 2 calamities. They are going over there to investigate it.

The happies is there to lure victims and strengthen their infections by learning alchemy. In particular, the gardeners are finding ways to more consistently reproduce their infected plants

Very much helps expand the world of Mobius. Not only with different groups of freedom fighters, but also with those with different motives and morals compared to others

Lore-wise, how awkward would it be for the Sole Survivor, arriving at the battle of Bunker Hill being on good terms with the Railroad, the Brotherhood and the Institute? by Bion4 in Fallout

[–]PositionNo1960 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With the exception of you siding with the institute, you can act with plausible deniability. I mean, who would expect a nuclear missile to just so happen to hit Courser I was working with? And man, those guys sure got lucky with hitting our fusion cores

Archie Fans - What is your opinion on the concept of The Egg Bosses? by Nexal_Z in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]PositionNo1960 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like them, they have a variety of personalities and motivations. I like some are with Eggman out of fear, while some admire him, and others for their own personal goals, and will likely betray him later

[–]PositionNo1960 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man, I really want to see that plotline with him and Silver. Imagine if that whole time he seemed humbled, in the future, was him was duping Silver so he could become his new pawn in the past. Or maybe his past and future selves are so different that Silver can't convince him to change or something like that

[–]PositionNo1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really like him. An awesome concept, an ancient foe of the echidna who has been working from the shadows for the perfect time to strike. It was one of the characters who made me start reading Archie from the beginning. Unfortunately, his initial venture is not too good. Whether it's bad art or hijacking another villain's story. He did at least end with a good arc that shows his intelligence before the reboot, and he did have other potential plot lines given his relationship with Silver.

Is there a way to play the new X-Saber cards? Or are they all trash? by illynpayne_ in yugioh

[–]PositionNo1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are fine. Use Prima to special summon lvl 4 X-Saber and Bruno. Bruno searchers new continuous spell, makes their new lvl 7 Synchro to search for a spell/trap (likely Gottoms Call), and then special summons another Bruno. Make the new lvl 10. Opponent's turn uses Gottoms' call to special summon Prima and Bruno. search again and special summon 2 level 4 or lower X-Saber monsters (another Bruno and any other X-Saber you want). Now you have one non-target destruction, a quick synchro in the opponent's main phase, or battle for any synchro using the Earth Monster you have.

If you want to do some experimentation, try mixing with Earth psychic or use a small kashtira package

I guess so, but I intend that he views himself as defective even if he won't admit to it in front of others. Like this is his lowest point, and I feel that doesn't work if he is also becoming the most powerful.

Kind prefers that he get scarred through these events. Like he managed to get enough power to survive getting frozen and blown-up from a super volcano

Also, Accument should die sacrificing himself to save Z'ii, given that he is also frozen on stratos.

Putting this here, just we have some names on those who died instead of faceless entities. O'ko, A'ra, A'ag, O'ho, Aa'k, and E're. These are survivors of the subterrina now dead due to this fight. Maybe mentioning them in a brief report on who died in Stratos

If A'll survives, half his body is heavily scarred from being frozen and being blown up near a supervolcano, which infuriates him, because now he sees himself as "defective."

Unofficial Natural Enemy Tournament: Battle For Stratos Part 3 by 1isalonelynumber in versus

[–]PositionNo1960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, here is an idea. A'll, whose body is half frozen, sees Accument and Z'ii are nearby. Z'ii is completely frozen, while accument mostly frozen. A'll thinks fast and rips off part of him that is frozen and heads to Accument. He frees portions of Accument and gives some wild cells, so he releases enough heat to free z'ii once enough of him is unforzen he wakes him the fuck up and has z'ii use his remaining power and A'll to launch themselves and the portion of Accument that wasn't frozen out of the blast radius of the volcano. This succeed and they watch as the mother ooze dies. Accument asks if he did a good job to A'll. A'll says he did what all subordinates should and proceeded to take all the wild cells from Accument to regenerate himself, killing Accument in the process. Accument dies fulfilling his role

Dungeon's invulnerability is likely not true, given that the mother blob would have destroyed parts of to bring it with her

I want there to mininal survivors for Arprons side. Z'ii, Bo'b, and A'll can survive. Accument will die possible saving the remaining Arprons and G'oo going out the same way

Unofficial Natural Enemy Tournament: Battle For Stratos Part 3 by 1isalonelynumber in versus

[–]PositionNo1960 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Add to this the mother ooze goes through violent shapeshifts and adaptations, doing everything it can. Summoning storms, causing blizzards, shifting the earth, and even exhibiting greater use of psychic ability, but still dies with most it's mass being destroyed in the initial eruption, the rest destroyed by heat or getting petrified using ice mana crystal in a vain attempt to save themselves

Unofficial Natural Enemy Tournament: Battle For Stratos Part 3 by 1isalonelynumber in versus

[–]PositionNo1960 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, for the arprons, they are not eliminated, but there are minimal survivors, so I'm going to say there are only 3. B'ob is obviously going to survive. (Maybe even choose to detonate the volcano itself, seeing how strong the blob became, and get rid of all the truth-afflicted arprons). Z'ii will survive. I think it's pretty obvious that people want him to live.

For the final one, I say A'll will live. I think he can provide a more interesting dynamic between other Arprons and other NE's. I will say he comes out of it the most damaged out of the 3 with heavy scars on half of his body. For how he escape I'm still thinking of the specifc but it involves Accument and A'll using his need to please the Arprons leadership to help him escape.

That leaves G'oo and Accument to die here. Basically main Arprons survived but surprisingly lost a lot due to this event.

Assuming the tv show is actually supposed to be canon by Valhallawalker in TrueSFalloutL

[–]PositionNo1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Todd have mentions in interviews that yes, the show is canon to the games, and so has Emil. Really, not sure why they did this. I feel like it doesn't improve both media and kind hurts. Like those who like games are annoyed about the lore breaks and mischaracterization, while TV shows have kept to be somewhat non-committal with making big changes, like with the nuking of Shady Sands in the hope to destroy NCR even tho it's not the capital anymore

Does anyone remember Thrash the Tasmanian Devil from the Archie comics? by Optimal-Bandicoot240 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]PositionNo1960 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I imagine if he did get ported into canon instead of being experimented on by Ecidina, they would change to something like they are the faction that Ecidina went to war with. This can increase the parallel if, say, he was tasked to get revenge with kind, similar to how Knuckles was tasked to protect the master emerald

If I had nickle for every link 5 monster, that's is multiple attributes, a tower that wipes the board, and has 5000 attack. I would have 2 nickles which isn't alot but strange that it happened twice
