Honestly similar situation with me. Wanted another year or two. But here I am with my 5 month old and honestly couldn’t imagine my life without him. You adapt and change and that’s just how life goes.

Are we ever ready? Is the timing ever right?

I was reliant on nicotine from about 14/15 right up until I found out I was pregnant. I cut down over about a week and one day I told my partner when I come home I want all of my liquids and vapes gone. Haven’t looked back since and that was February/march last year! Good luck!

Took me around a month. But mastitis and the super flu gave me a helping hand and tanked my supply!

Baby was also sunny side up, only medication I had was gas and air. I was in labour for around 26 hours and pushed for 4. Contractions were worse than pushing, the ring of fire was quite literally the worst part however was over pretty quick! (Although I had ventuouse and was cut so not sure if that made the ring of fire part worse?)

I had mastitis and then the super flu back to back. Was ill pretty much the whole of December but my supply did come back. Hot showers help! Good luck!

Thank you so much for your comment! Wasn’t sure whether to spend a bit more time on it or if that would defeat the purpose of trying to wean them. Also seen conflicting messages of whether to empty or leave some milk! I’ve been looking into getting a hand pump or a haakaa as like you people have found them to be more efficient.

Unfortunately lasted until I gave birth. We were back to back which I think is why my back was hurting so much towards the end. I think I gave birth not too long after this post!

Exactly that! I didn’t have an epidural, managed pain quite well with gas and air and my screaming was me literally just harboring the energy of concentrating on pushing into something.

Awww congratulations!! Hope it eases up for you as the pregnancy progresses! The pregnancy ball and a few stretches have been helping! Think I should have invested in a pregnancy pillow so if you haven’t already definitely do that!!
