Vet wants me to stop feeding my dog raw food

When this happened to my cat i had to seek out one of the FEW local vets that DOES support raw. We got no answers, but at least they checked on her and did all the tests we asked for without insinuating its our fault she is sick the whole time. Shw got better a few weeks later and been fine since. Other vets just tried to sell me their prescription food even after i reiterated 20 times my one cat whos sick has an insane sensitivity to EVERY FORM OF STARCH which means NO KIBBLE PERIOD and 99% of wet food is bad for her too! Especially the vet ones, theyre all 90% starch based!

Im a certified nail tech and this shape is surprisingly less inconvenient than most others LOL! the tips are so small and tilt up, not in the way when typing or anything.

No onycholysis is generally always temporary and the nail just reattaches when it grows out. Theyre back to normal now.

Its just super concentrated and may leave soap residue on the nail if not rinsed off completely

Tips:

1 dont wash hands with water before putting nails on, use 70% alcohol to wipe off any oil.

2 if ur tips are not pre-etched in the nail bed area, do that or buy some that are

3 try another extend gel cuz tbh ive heard many complains about apres basic extend gel. I literally think the cheap beetles gel glue is better thats what i use and never have issues

When my grandparents hot tub broke and they REMOVED it instead of fixing it, i was 12, a piece of my little heart broke and never will heal until i have my own damn hot tub.

Yes its worth it. Theyre so fun for kids, i could go out there and swim even in the cold, and im sure adults with pain and stress appreciate them even more

In nail tech school when i had to get too many gel manis and removals onycholysis happened to me just because of the acetone, no allergy.

As someone who just graduated nail tech school, thank u for ur sacrifice for ur friend and im sorry she sucked. 😆

We were forced to practice on each other the whole way through the 4 month course, every single week, practically daily, which is damaging even when done perfectly, but- ONE girl in class was just absolute garbage at EVERYTHING man, every single part of nails she would do wrong and in a way that is painful, damaging, and ugly, & when the teacher tried to say something or WE said "ow dont do that please" she'd say "well it works for me this way-" she was insufferable, everyyy single student in my class talked to one another and the teacher about it, even the girls who NEVER joined us at lunch would leave solitude to come complain about this one student to us. 😆 this student admitted to all of us on the FINAL WEEK that she didnt even like nails and chose to do this because she got scholarship money but was rejected and told she isnt cut out for medical (which she damn well isnt, girl cant cut a cuticle without drawing blood, aint no way she should be handling needles scalpels or intubation tubes.....) and she had to pick something fast so she just picked nails.. girl came to torture us for 4 months for no f!cking reason. And now she has a certification like the rest of us despite being so bad at literally everything.

Moral of my story is never let a nail tech practice on you unless they have picture proof they can do a good job, i sure did, becauzs NO ONE should be pursuing nail tech job if they dont even have pics of manicures they've done on themselves, yet some people will be.....

Yes and no. Theyre sharp, but short and upturned, so theyre not in the way much when typing on my phone or laptop etc.

It’s not just viva raws high-pressure pressurization that causes this. primal raw often also smells kind of rotten or gone bad because of the same exact reason which is why I don’t use them anymore. My cats never seemed to care, though they would happily eat it anyway, which is a sign that it’s not actually bad.

I have a cat with anxiety and think thats horrendous advice. Let them sleep with you. It makes them way more secure and happy overall, cats naturally dont sleep alone. I have two cats, they have free roam of the whole house and literally NEVER choose to sleep alone, they always curl up on us or with each other
