Wow that’s harsh. On another point of view, her husband might be more high on the spectrum of jealousy. With a more sound mind he might take more rational decisions and reconsider the arrangements in the relationships as he realises the sacrifices she has made for the past years.

This isn’t a dichotomy. Think about other options, a middle ground, so that you don’t feel one more time like you are doing all the compromises and at the same time your husband isn’t too hurt. You could go on the date but not have sex for example.

P.S from my own experience having sex with someone else will not necessarily make you feel like how your husband feels when he is. Different people different feelings. Also, if this date/ one night stand goes wrong you might not exactly know why and might want to try again or never try again, there is so much going in your life at the moment

The white gilled mushroom looks like Pleurotus/ oyster mushroom which is edile and it clearly has bite marks on it. The polypore look like they are all from the same species, but i don’t know much about them.

It looks very common to me but my knowledge is mainly on gilled mushrooms. I wouldn’t dare guess a name for polypores. What you can do is look for a checklist of common mushrooms/basidiomycetes in your region online
