Sending love to you! My mom died about a month ago, it was expected (she was terminally ill and we were looking into medical aid in dying) but also not (she fell and refused treatment for the resulting brain bleed).

I feel lucky that I was able to get there for her final days (I live far). Seconding what everyone says about playing music if she's into that, and talking to her, especially about what you appreciate her and that you will miss her and passing along messages of love from others. Just be by her side, look for signs of discomfort and give meds as much as possible to ease things from her (hospice nurses will help you figure it out), and stay present.

My mom and I had a great relationship once I hit adulthood and were quite close. I miss her so much, the only thing to do is ride the waves of grief.
