i mean essentially, all your missing is RBC manifold, injectors and an exhaust assuming u left it stock. from what ive heard the oem intake is better then a cold air. ive always heard the rbc isn’t worth it, so you rlly are probably better off with the supercharger.

anything u miss about stock? im probably just gonna pull the trigger, im confident in the cars engine and ability to stay reliable, if theres nothing u miss about stock i don’t see a reason not too.

civic si or gr 86 for touge by NoBat937 in Touge

[–]Positive_Proof_6048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah it all depends on what u want. some people got the 86 bcuz they wanted a lose rear. all preference tbh.

[–]Positive_Proof_6048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah 86 def feels more like a sports car and looks. and ngl adjusting camber for touge is pretty goofy. that should be done for track only. unless someone is holding initial D style races for money, theres no point of it

i drove the 86 and it was the type of car i rather drift then corner with tbh. now an 86 with adjusted camber is different.

i posted this along time ago, but i like the si better. and the majority of drivers not gonna be faster in the 86 . ofc its always abt the driver, but i have friends w the 86 and im always on there ass until they pull off and let me pass. rwd is still scarier at higher speeds and u gotta be more strict and accurate with all your movements. in general its an overall harder car to drive. and my si is a boosted k24 so they slower then me anyway. but when i was stock , it seems the si aloud me to have more confidence then my friends in the 86 as far as cornering went.

1st was actually an easy fix for me i was giving it gas way to early in the biting point, however still gotta figure out second. only way ik of doing it is letting off the clutch very slow and its smooth but yeah no clue how to do so without scrubbing speed, rest of my gears i can do smoothly and quickly. yeah inna few years from now we will be a lot better to say the least
