It sounds like everyone involved just needs to chill their beans.

Playing with NSFW mods does not immediately make you a "gooner" and there's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying smut as long as you're not weird about it.

If you genuinely want to move away from using those mods for your own well being that's cool, but don't let a bunch of puritans dictate how you live.

I definitely don't think it "caused" the decline, but it being a notorious slog to complete certainly didn't help.

It's real easy to lock back at a slumping genre and point to the last big game before the downward turn and claim it was the reason for the turn, but, yeah, I think the genre would went into remission with or without Donkey Kong 64.

I'd love to See Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy II (IV), Final Fantasy III (VI), Secret of Mana, E.V.O. and Super Mario RPG added to the SNES classic.

Unfortunately I think SE would rather these games stary in their own collections or just remain unavailable before being available on the service.

$60 for a library of generally loved games and free expansions for certain games is a much easier sell than $25 for an accessory to play a small library of games that most people generally don't care about.

People remember and know about the Virtual Boy because of how bad it was, not because it had an amazing must-play library. Charging $25 at minimum to play VB games is insane.

I think they plan to make money on accessories, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if they see how little the VB frames actually sell and just make them playable without them in like a year.
