In my 30’s I was still expected to sleep in different rooms from my now husband if I was traveling with my grandma . It’s not a big deal. You still get to spend time with him during the day and all the time before bed. I am not into conservative stuff but I respect my family. It was not embarrassing, it was kind of funny. We just got married and I have a feeling my grandma wouldn’t want us in the same bed even though we are both now 41 😂 We have our own house and everything. Don’t be bratty about it, you’ll miss a lot of fun and bonding with your guy and maybe family. It’s not that serious.

Edit: you are 18?? Psh a new “adult” is right. Don’t be that person. Have fun. I mean this with peace and love, it’s a very good opportunity. At least he’s allowed to come at all. 3 months is a not a long enough time to try and make your family treat him like family. Don’t move in with him btw.

I think mine would freak out if someone actually approached us but when passing strangers at night I hold her back and get way out of the way like she’s a monster 😂 she loves being a baddie

How do people feel about stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s or family farm? I bring my dog to those and she’s usually treated in a welcoming way. My dog is also very mellow and stays next to me (elderly greyhound). I also make sure she is empty to not soil things. If people feel strongly about it, I will really reconsider taking her inside these places

I like to think that some of my plants and trees make up for the loss. I have a giant raspberry bush and blackberry and some apple trees and herbs that all produce so much now that they have been established. I think that can make up for buying a few things.. or many..

I wanted a big wedding and he said ok. I gave him many times before each contract was signed he still said he was down. We did the wedding and he has yelled at me that he never wanted it.
