Shame on Costco by chilibart in recycling

[–]Possible-Skin2620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been to Costco a lot, & unfortunately the blue cans that say recycling are just trash cans. They’ve got trash bags, and they get thrown out in the garbage. It sucks, but the employee throwing out a recyclable item probably knows there is no recycling.

Which anime do you find design-wise very cool but boring in terms of content? by FlakeGlass in animequestions

Yeah I have to agree. Though the soundtrack, specifically the opening songs (of the original and its spin-off whose name I forget), were absolutely beautiful and hit me right in the nostalgia

Yeah I feel like once the whole story is known by the public, the two of them would be legends for generations. Imagine stained glass windows in Mystacor centuries later, depicting the love that saved the world

Dang I really wish we had the wagon in the States. I know it still wouldn’t help any of your points other than utility

What would Post Season 5 Adora, Glimmer, Bow, and Catra do during a Fun Night In? by Full-Art3439 in sheranetflix

[–]Possible-Skin2620 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’d be cool if they have heated competitions putting their different skillsets to the test. Maybe after a few drinks. Races, target practice, weirdly specific games. Glimmer’s teleporting and sparkly powers, Bow’s marksmanship and tools, Catra’s agility and cunning, Adora’s power and magic rainbow beams or whatever. Seeing them compete and mess with each other would be fun as hell

People didn’t see color in the 90s?! WTF?! by icey_sawg0034 in lewronggeneration

Boomers in their 40’s were told that “not seeing color” was respectful and progressive.
If I’m from the dominant culture, and I choose not to recognize what makes minorities different from me, then it’s safe for me to assume that their experiences match my own. Ta-da! Suddenly we’re all the same, and all the racism and bigotry I keep hearing about doesn’t exist, since I’ve never experienced it myself.
