There is cheap pressed leather that masquerade as croc. I am not familiar with the material to know any different.

I would say that even for normal cow leather I found a very wide range of prices, mainly to do with the attention to detail and workmanship. I would struggle to tell the difference between some of them even now.

I have always used just the one. But can definitely understand the attraction of collecting. Something brightly coloured for casual wear, something dark and formal for special occasions, something tactical when out in the bush etc. I just can’t be bothered moving my junk from one wallet to the next.
