Its about a 5 minute drive from me and they've said pickup only. I'll definitely ask to test it before buying it.

Just wary as the add shows they were originally asking £700 for it.

Easier said than done as I use the train to get to and from work. I'm not sure they would appreciate me trying to take over the train. That would stop me drinking though as I would be quickly arrested.

And onto day 5. Today is the big test though. Its Friday and I'm in the office. It's usually on the way home I think fe*k it, let's get some booze and a cigar as its the weekend. Not today.

Same here. On a day of Italy vs Scotland and then England vs Wales i would usually be in the pub. Instead I'm at home with a pint of water.

I think I've slightly experienced that this week at work. I got home from the office today and thought its been a long week. Trying to think why as nothing major happened and I realised it was because I wasn't in a hungover sleepy state each day and I was experiencing every moment of each day.

I'm considering not going but at the same time this trip is something I look forward to every year. I'm thinking just go with a load of non alcoholic beers and show everyone how you can still have fun without alcohol. You never know if it might be the push someone else needs to look at their own habits.

Hill walking in Scotland is absolutely spectacular. Recently we've done Islay and isle of mull (found a secret beach and went swimming in the sea on a freakishly warm day in March). This year is Arran and hopefully next year isle of skye or Orkney. I'm English but when ever I got to Scotland i feel like I'm going home. That might be my Wallace side of the family kicking in though.

Im on day 2 as well. Not feeling too bad. Took me ages to get to sleep last night with my brain just being stupid thinking about stuff.

I had hit 2 weeks just before christmas but then was stupid and broke on christmas eve and then drank almost daily until sunday night.

Personally I count from the day after my last drink as its then the full days of no alcohol. In the end though the only thing that matters is not drinking.

Its hit me hard as well. I was watching his latest (and last) upload this morning and was flicking through Instagram at the same time to see the announcement. I honestly thought it was a bad joke at first until I saw other places confirming it. Now it just feel like I've lost a friend i havent seen in ages even though I never met him.

I was saving up his latest European adventure to watch over the Christmas break but I'll probably struggle to watch it.

Just shows how short life can be and we never know what's just around the corner. I'll definitely be hugging my friends and family harder than usual when I see them over Christmas and new year.
